Mine is set a 1.9”. My driver side has a .75” lean with a full tank of gas. It’s annoying! I plan to get a spacer to make up .5” of that.

I measured mine out of curiosity from ground to fender and I’m 40.75” on both front corners and 40.75” on back left and 41” on back right. Pretty level with my set up. 8FF34515-3198-4615-807C-0F5D31A5D7FD.jpgpicture for drool

Robbie was great. Super attentive to details and getting everything dialed in.

Ride is nice. I am coming off a pretty beat setup so I was definitely hoping for a noticeable change. And I am not disappointed.

I would say the truck has better feel now while at the same time dips and bumps being nicely dampened. You simultaneously have better feel for the road while having less impact from rough spots. Went down the gravel road in Nags Head Woods and it felt awesome. Coming home down Colington Rd (for those who aren’t from here it’s a windy sometimes bumpy road) I was really impressed. Way more planted on curves and floating along over the chunked out spots.

I read this this entire thread but I could some advice:

I would like to go with the 6112/5160 setup on 2.5 in the front with Toytec shackles in the rear. I have an RCI skid plate and Fuel Maverick 20 offset with Nitto Ridge graps at 33x12.5x20.

Do I need a dif drop kit for this?
Will I still have rake with shackle at 1 or do I need 1.5 with the front at max?
Can I add a 1/4" driver side shim or will I be looking at UCA's if I do?
Anyone have rubbing with this set up?

    Thanks for any help.

I'll do my best to help.

You'll get a mix of opinions on the diff drop. Some will say you need it if going over 2" of lift and others will say it doesn't do anything so don't waste your time.

With a 1" shackle, you could end up a touch nose high especially if you run a shim. I would definitely go with a 1.5" shackle if you're hoping to have any rake left.

You might need new UCAs to get proper alignment even without the shim. Adding a shim will increase the chances of it not aligning properly with the stock UCAs.

You would probably rub the stock skid plate so it is good you have the RCI. You shouldn't have clearance issues with the RCI skid plate. You might need to ditch the front splash guard and reshape the fender liner and you will likely need to remove the air dam in front of the front wheel. I don't think you'll hit the body mount with 33s.

Thanks for the fast reply. I was trying to get the most lift I could get and avoid new UCA's. If I have to do it is there any consensus on whether Camburg or SPC are better?

I'm in a similar boat. I'm doing 6112s in front on 2.5, with 2 driver side shims and 1 passenger from CB. I am doing the 3" shackle in the rear. Which UCA's would you suggest? Tried doing some reading earlier on them but am still a bit stumped.

Pics of my setup are a couple posts above. At the top setting I had no problem getting it aligned with stock UCA but the guy doing the alignment knew his shit and is used to working on lifted trucks.

I don't have a shim on the driver side but do plan to add one and was told he could still keep me good on alignment. Might do UCAs down the road but it was not a mandatory deal for me at this point.

Also measure your current height front and back and you will have a good idea what to go with for shackles. Even with a bit of measured rake truck will likely look level.

Just installed 6112's at 1.9" with 1 shim per side. Waiting on wheels to arrive, so I'm driving on stock wheels and tires right now. Anyone notice heavier steering and a vague steering stop at full lock compared to stock?

I'm no expert on UCAs but Camburg and Total Chaos seem to be the most popular choices for Tundras.

Sounds like they didn't get the alignment quite right. Do you have the numbers post-alignment?

@trailrnr did you do anything other than a 5160 in the rear? no leaf or shackles?

I was looking at SPC UCA's because they are low maintenance. I was told the TC's are great but they needed cleaning often, are Camburg open or closed?

You are gonna get to see that in a couple day. This is my exact setup except I got the 5160 for the rear and i have Camburg UCA. I’m putting 35x12.5x17 on with a 17x8.5 etO. Dropping off tomorrow picking up Friday. As far as which brand UCA to get just get the one you get the best deal on

I did not add anything in the rear yet.

But the truck already had Airlift airbags on there when I bought it. They have been great for towing/hauling. They recommend running 5-10 psi in them and even just with that I get about 1" of rake. With no air I am still level to the front. It looks like the cradle they sit in adds enough height to be leveled with the front set at 2.5".

My plan is to add a driver side shim up front to correct lean and add an 1 1/2" shackle in the rear at the same time and see what that does.

I’ve got your set up too, I’m running some JBA upper control arms. They are beefy and work great. Check out JBA off road. CB040FFA-0CCE-49C6-B856-3F7EA4F22A57.jpg
