Shocks are on the way! Can’t decide what setting? Second or 3rd? Thinking 2nd because I have a 2018 with safety sense and not wanting to run into any problems with the sensing. Any pics out there with second and 3rd setting might help.

    Good luck!

When I do this I will probably go with the 2nd setting.. I have a cap on and usually carry a bit of weight in the bed.. I hate the look of the reverse rake that some have upon acceleration when truck is dead level.. friend has it on his dead level and it looks reversed at times

I did 3rd setting on my 6112 up front 1.9. And 5160 rear. You will be amazed at how much better the truck rides. Its definitely better then stock.

I'd do 2nd setting because I like a little forward rake. Like the other guy said, dead level ends up being front higher than rear too often for my tastes. But just my preference.

    I have 6112s coming set on 3rd setting...hoping for level. Shouldn't be a sensing problem..keep all posted.

I have it at 3rd setting. 2.5 inches. Truck is still about 1/2 inch lower on front.

I do have a slight bro lean when the back is loaded down. I assume pulling a trailer or boat it will be even worse.

Interesting how your 3rd setting is providing 2.5” of lift. I understand the top setting is supposed to net 2.5” of lift while the 3rd setting is supposed to net 1.9” of lift. Did you measure after they had settled down? Also, is yours 2wd or 4x4?

I am running the 20" TSS rims that are offered in the texas region. Tires are 285x55x20 bfg k02. Suspension is just leveled on 3rd setting. My truck is perfectly level if I would have done the top setting I woud had to do a shackle in the rear

How would you describe the change in ride? I have the same wheels with 295/55r20, and I find the ride with a stock 2018 platinum to be a bit harsh when I go over uneven pavement and expansion joints.

Stock ucas. Anything under 3in lift I would say stock ucas are fine. And diff drop would not be neccessary. No issues with alignment. I will advise having a reputable 4x4 shop do the alignment because I did not have luck having the dealership doing it they screwed it up

What tire pressure are you running? I will say after the bilstein 6112 and 5160 install the truck rides and handles x1000 better then stock. Now the 5100s front and rear I cannot comment on but I have heard they also make the ride better then stock.

I went with the 6112 and 5160s because I do go offroad a bit. Especially during hunting seasons

Got the bilsteins installed today! Went with 2nd setting 1.3 front lift. As it sits now it looks perfectly level. Hoping the shocks we’ll settle a little in the front. Love the way it looks but wanting a little rake when I tow
