PS and Trans you can use the Valvoline Maxlife ATF. It has been discussed to death on here and plenty of members are using it. I just did my PS with Valvoline and when the time comes I will move over to Valvoline for the trans fluid also. One good thing is that Valvoline is a synthetic where WS isn't. And WS for some odd reason just jumped up like $7 a quart. I was getting them for around $3QT and now the dealer is around $10QT. Brake fluid, I just use Prestone DOT3 Syn, rear diff I used Mobil LS syn 75w-90 and still aint do for antifreeze. As of Amazon and the antifreeze, well that's a crap shoot unless it's being sold and delivered from a Toyota dealer. If I want OEM, I pretty much just go to Toyota because there are plenty of counterfeits out there. just suck you live so far.

On this note, while it may be too late, I use the peak OET coolant for toyotas. I run it in multiple toyotas I own and it does fine. Cheaper too and available at parts stores/Walmart.

I try to look at it with cost over time. Maxlife is $25 a gallon, Toyota WS is $40. So $15 in savings, over the course of say 1-2 years, really not a big deal for the peace of mind but it is good to know that people have been just fine with Maxlife.

Price in general is not the issue with me either. But now that WS is more than Max Life and it’s a synthetic, well, it’s a win-win. What I do like is that it’s at all auto stores and not just the dealer. Also, Max Life works in trans and PS. So one fluid takes care of 2 fluids. A big plus is synthetic vs non synthetic.
