A 3 inch shackle doesn’t give you 3” of lift. You get about half that.

I wonder how much wheel hop you get with a 5 inch lift block. Because I get wheel hop with no block.

Remember a +3 shackle only gives about 1.6 inches of lift. You are moving half of the spring down.

@Cement1 i do have a set of blocks they are 4.75 tall came off a F-350. They are about .5 longer than what lift blocks we used for our lift. If you like I will give them to you if you go that route.

You should just add a 3” block on top of the 4” block for good measure. Incase the blocks settle a little

Also with the new leaf springs, the truck will NEVER bottom out with heavy weight, before it would bottom out with like 400 pounds! Now with 2000 it still won’t bottom out, but that’s thanks to the kings as well!

So are you dead level now or do you have a slight rake?

So I’m not really familiar with shackles or how they work. I’m gonna google them...lol. But your saying I can use 1 inch shackles with my 4 inch blocks and gain a half an inch correct?

I think you might be focusing to much on the actual size of the shackle...Just go find a shackle that will increase you 1 inch...And then your done..Have it installed or do it yourself and you will increase 1 inch...

Got it, I see now. They connect the end of the leaf springs to the frame and going with longer ones gives you more lift. Thanks for the pics man!
