    Honestly you will never see a tundra 2 or a tundra heavy duty.. Market here in the US is over ran(flooded) with them. That said toyota should let the big three :censored: money away into a very small market of pick up trucks sold compared to 1500, f150, tundra and titan numbers.

    just my .02

    Nissan sold enough Titan's to count them? sarc. Actually Nissan will probably initially sell a bunch of it's new for 2016 Diesel Titan XD's and rightly so. Appears to potentially be a decent truck, but three issues come to mind. Ford diesels, Dodge diesels, Chevy diesels.

    Dodge= cummings
    Ford- Ford design now was navistar.
    Chevy/GMC- ISUZU powerplant.
    Nissan- cummings.

    Toyota-- :gossip:..

    nissan number across the board for sells suck wind now. One reason nissan proved they are not a threat to the big three.
    Toyota on the other hand IS.

    The Frontier fared much better in sales than Titans but peanuts compared to Taco's. Compared to the old Titan the new XD looks alright. Nissan had to do something with the Titan after 15 yrs of basically nothing. Nissan should just go niche with the new XD. Make some special regional editions with fancy stickers, shocks, trim levels, etc.

    What's wrong with buying a used Navistar to tow giant trailers? Not sure how many were made. Definitely cool looking.

    I usually see test vehicles every time I drive up Mt Evans out of Denver in the summer. All types of vehicles. From Porches to Mahindra's little diesel truck about 4 or 5 yrs ago. Never met safety/ EPA stds. Always have the important features covered up. Idea place to test. Waiting to see an extra large Tundra shape under all the "secret covering" some day. 7900 ft to 14260 ft and all kinds of weather in between in 14 miles. Good place to test trailer towing capability. You make it there, you make it anywhere. Good place for a meet.

    Honestly nothing...why I put it out there. I dont recommend garbage. I hate to see people waste money on garbage.

    Navistar has a huge name in heavy diesel and how good there engines are built and there trucks are built strong. They kind of over build there trucks some.

    Just imagine yourself cruising down the road in that. Wonder if it has AC. Could be a deal breaker with no AC.

    There's also this:

    a_fifthwheel-730157.jpg No AC either

    My opinion on towing regardless of GWVR,laws,or truck capabilities when it comes to 1/2 tons is don't haul anything with a weight that's greater than your truck. I know when you get to 1tons and greater it's a different story but Toyota doesn't make one. Tundras weigh about 7500lb don't haul anything over that. That's my $.02
