I noticed something similar when I installed mine, but I was able to bend the two pins on the notch side of the barrel down a bit to match the other side, then it all went together with a little work. It definitely looked like it wouldn’t fit at first, though.

Hmmn. I’m gonna email her photos, see what she says. 1. I don’t want to break it, trying. 2. I want to be able to connect, disconnect each time I go out. I don’t want it to e something I make work once, and can’t take apart.

    Thanks, Guys, for answering up.

I'll be fine. Looking at your pic, I can clearly see the difference with the pin layout. Although I would lose my patience and force it, you make a good point of the need to connect and disconnect more than once without breaking the pins off. Bummer they sent you what seems to be the wrong harness...

Alright, I’m fed up with the mismatched connectors. I thought I’d be cool for my kid and throw the whip on after dinner for the drive home, but couldn’t get the damn pins in. And when I finally though I had it, I had it clocked 120° and wouldn’t turn on. Anyone have thoughts on a better connector to cut and replace with?

I’m thinking maybe using DT 4 pin connectors, but am open to other options.

Ridiculous. Send that crap back and support a local business, no mismatched connectors. My RichWhipsaz stopped working after a few years of being thoroughly abused, and was replaced no questions asked.
