That's a fair point. The flag rings ain't cheap though. Anyway, just for ease I'd like to know what it does and does not apply to. I'm totally fine if it's whips only, but I will probably buy more (if I buy, not in yet) if more stuff is on sale.

Not a 5150 whip, but this is 4’ attached to the flag mount on TC bed stiffener. Forget details but the height is correct to attach a flag if ever required for dunes etc..

 

Anything is a dil… never mind. Something something if you’re brave enough.

I've read both 8' and 9' from the ground

Generally the flags are required to be 8”x12” in size, and solid red or orange in color. They must be attached to a whip (which is a pole, rod or antenna) that is securely mounted on the dune buggy. The dune flag must stand upright when the buggy is stopped and be at least 9-feet above the ground.

You have all the buy/sell/trade forums set to email alert and whatever email app you use has a special ringtone. When something gets posted, you immediately get an email followed by an audible ringtone.. so you pick up the phone and check out what’s for sale. Hence why you’re usually top of the pack.

Taking it to the next level, you probably had @TRDFerguson or another computer dude program your email app so that if the word “led” appears anywhere in the for sale email that came through, then a siren goes off at your house/place or work/local grocery store etc etc. which is why you always have first dibs on lights
