Had 4-5100s installed yesterday (front on highest setting) and wheelers add a leaf on the rear. Also added toyo open country RT 295-555-20 tires.

Ride is so much smoother than stock with the bfg ko 285-55-20 tires that came on it. I wouldn't have thought so.

Rear was raised 2" but I hope it will settle at 1". Only complaint is the leafs are noisy now. Pics w/o and w an empty trailer. 20180428_075514.jpg

Looks good man. I'm sure they will quiet down a bit once they get settled.
Maybe its the the shadowing in the pics but the front tires look pushed back? Did you get am alignment. I don't know a lot about this but maybe they can get you more positive caster?

I've been reading about the 5100's and want to do this same X4 setup. Did you have to add a diff drop or shackles? I thought you couldn't do the top setting on a CM 4X4? Does the UCA's have alot of angle on them? How much cash did this run you? Why did you add a leaf on the rear?

The driveway curves so the wheels are turned a little in each photo.

    Shop did alignment after install.

It's about 2.25" lift on the top setting, so I didn't have uca issues or need the diff drop. My understanding is that when you get to around 3" you might start having issues.

Labor to install four 5100s, two add a leafs and alignment was $544. They had it all day.

I added a leaf because I tow a trailer some and the rear squats so bad on these trucks with just a little weight. Bonus is I got some lift from it too.

What brand leafs did you go with? I’m putting tuff country’s in tomorrow. They have pads on each end to help with noise.

I only did a wheeler's add a leaf on each side to the stock packs. This has helped a lot with the squatting. These have pads too and are much quieter now after they've broken in some.

i had a wheelers add a leaf on my tacoma and i never heard one peep out of it for the 150,000 miles that i had it. i thought about a leaf pack for the tundra, but after seeing complaints about them sagging and the noises that they make, i just decided to get another add a leaf for the tundra from wheelers. i have not heard one peep out of mine, but it has only been on the tundra for about 3 weeks and i have not driven it all that much.
i towed way more mess than i had business towing with my tacoma and never had issues with it, i think they are great for the money, tough to beat. i did wheelers add a leaf, icon 2.0 rear shocks, king coilovers and spc uca's, it handles and rides great.

How's the ride? Do the extra leafs create more bounce or stiffness? I'm considering the same, but auto shop is pushing airbags. I like a stiff ride and the extra height.
