Nope, I’ve had no issues with TSS. Only time I’ve had a problem with it is very heavy rain driving on the interstate. But that was just momentarily and the back to normal.

    You are very welcome.
Just as a side note, I never installed the Coach holder shackles in the rear. The rear is riding on stock height.

One more quick question. The drivers side lean. Did you shim it? If so what size shim did you use.

Haven’t had install yet. Just hear there’s a front end drivers side lean about 1/4 inch. Not enough to really notice from my eyes. I may just say the hell with it.

2019 2WD 5100s on middle setting with one CB shim on each side. Rear is stock. 18”Method 312s BFG KO2 275/70/18s. I love it. Had it like this for almost 3 years. I wanna go bigger on tires when these wear out. Most likely will go 295/70/18 but I’m sure it’ll need more lift.

Man, looks great! You won’t need more lift to fit 295s, but possibly need to trim/remove mud flaps.

Thanks!! That’s good to know. I know a lot of people go the 35 route but they are so heavy and I’m sure I’d have to do body chopping and what not. I’m sure I’ll be changing my mind 100 times prior to actually doing it.

Just put on a set of 285/75/18. They look great although I’ll have to trim my TRD package skid plate. Everything else seems to clear but I may still heat up the wheel wells and push them back a bit. I’ll post a pic tomorrow.

Today I trimmed down the skid plate. All is good now. I can fully crank the wheel in reverse with no issues. It took me about an hour.

Update: So I realized the front passenger tire rubs on the sway bar when I turn full lock to the left and go in reverse, more if I'm going up a slight incline. Nothing on the driver side. I'm going back to the shop to see if they see anything with the alignment. Anyone experience this?

So for the uninitiated, how much lift do you guys get with the 5100s on the different settings?

Bilstein 5100s = .87"-1.57"-2.28" per their information. I set mine in the middle clip and got a solid 1 1/2" so it appears to me the info they give is very close

I don't see why not? If it's only once or twice a year, you'd be fine.

Unfortunately, I had forgotten to measure prior to installing the 5100s at top setting which was 2.3".

    Question for the 5100 club:

I have a 2020 Platinum with standard springs and shocks. Looking to replace all four shocks to the 5100s. I am not looking to lift or level the vehicle. Stock stance. I have Pro BBS rims in stock size tires. What settings for the 5100 front and rear please?

    Thanks,
    Randy B

It'll all depend on your preference and usage of the truck. But most who are looking for the leveled look will go with middle/top clip setting and no lift in the rear.

The rear shocks do not lift your vehicle, it will be the leaf springs and/or shackle that will lift your rear.

Looking good!! What was the reasoning for downsizing to 265?

I apologize, they're actually 275. I was thinking my original size which was 265.

    Bone stock rear.

Question, with a +1 CB on rear, would I still need to correct driveline angle, or is it plug and play at such little height?

No, there isn’t a need to correct it.

    The +1 is only .625.

Thank you for taking a great side angle photo that really shows the fender gaps. This looks awesome. Seems level to me. I think some of the variance comes from the additional weight in the front on the 4WD vs 2WD models.

Thank you for the compliment. I agree with your statement about 2WD VS 4WD. I think top setting on 2WD would be far to much and give it that prerunner look, or bro lean.

After living with this set up, I've decided that at some point im going to go with the +1 CB shackles for the rear.

I like a small rake, the stock springs will only soften with time, and as another member pointed out, the roof line don't help. You almost have to be a bit higher in the rear, to appear level to the eye.
