    Well the dealer was the first place my truck went when it dropped a valve so they know the engine was shot. Wether they would cover it anyway is doubtful in my mind but worth looking into. I’m curious that article says 07-10 trucks. Mines an 11 and I thought the issue wasn’t corrected until the 2012 model year although I could be wrong on that.

    Talked to the local dealer, luckily this one is under warranty. The tech advisor I spoke to said the swapped engine makes no difference. A little relief and some money saved there is definitely appreciated.
