I probably would have not bought my Westin Ultimate Bull Bar since it was already on my truck. I have to admit, the second week I had my truck, a girl that was in front of me started to turn into oncoming traffic and realized she was not going to make it. She thru her car in reverse and slammed into the front of my truck. Her rear bumper was all messed up. My Bull Bar didn't even have a scratch. Just some smudges on rubber stops. I know if the bar was not there, the center plastic bumper overlay would have been messed up for sure and maybe worse. My friends wife accidently hit his 2014 RW front bumper and cracked it and not very hard. Guess it was made of fiber glass. Maybe the bull bar could have helped. $1500 repair bill. replace bull bar=$400.00 . Bull bar comes in handy for pushing somebody too. If hit hard enough the bar could certainly cause further damage behind it. But without it ,who's to say for sure. Depends on speed. At the least they are good for mounting lights. They certainly aren't dangerous to have.

Isn't the ARB bumper pretty beefy as far as strength? Thinkin the animals lost severely. Even a Bull Bar will provide some protection up to a point. Depends what you hit. I saw a totally messed up truck that took out two bison near Muncho Lake B.C. Heavy duty bumper was destroyed but did absorb the hit. Driver lived to tell. I know I never considered my bull bar as some sort of protection. Those who do may be in for a rude awaking.

There's a few vendors but either retrofitsource or slimcubby. I pm'd him about setting up a group buy for us here on tundras.com and he is going to do it at the end of the month.

My wife is 4'11" and already complains about my toytec leveled 2013 Crewmax. I told her I'm installing a rope ladder when I put on the 7" BDS lift and 37's

Looks real good Ron. When it comes to protection, everything is relative. Space shuttles had ultimate protection. Depends what hits it. Like foam at 600 mph's. Anything can get fracked up if hit hard enough. They aren't called Bull Bars because they are weak.

Did that bull bar come textured or did you do that yourself?
