CA 91 starts around $5 a gallon and goes up from there depending on location.

If anyone reading this would happen to know the Part # for the non ffv supply line I'll be your best friend. I ordered one 77209-0C110 that was 93 bucks plus tax. (Hoping it's the rite one) Even if you don't have the package with a number but have a picture of it would be super helpful. Just trying to get the correct line and get this fixed. (Thanks for any and all help on this)

The 77209-0C110 is not correct. Its way too short to go from the pump to the front of the tank. It must be for one of the smaller tanks. It is certainly not for a 38 gallon Gen 2.5 (The correct one is 77209-0C140 and it cost $45.43 12-20-24)

I'm all excited when I change the battery and do the wiring for the new bumper lights. I read this and feel like I'm back to playing with Duplo blocks in the corner. Sweet mercy....

Hi, where was the fuel line blown off? Inside the tank? Or where it connects on top of the FFV pump module? I just had the hose on top of the FFV pump module come off and sprayed fuel everywhere, completely shut down the engine. Had to tow home and trying to sort the fix and prevent future issues. Now im wondering Was it my poor install on the hose to begin with when i replaced the pump last November, or is this an over pressure? An over pressure does not make sense if there is a pressure return line.

    Yes
Did you keep the oem fittings on the fuel lines, or did you replace the fuel lines all together?

Hi, i used the Original hoses/fittings. Here is a pic of the one that came off, it appears to be the pressure line out from the pump according to this thread. In hindsight now thinking, i also installed an inline filter last November, which i suppose could have gotten clogged, then too much pressure built up blowing the weakest fitting off. Seems hard to believe it could get clogged in 5k miles. The tank was pristine clean when i had it out. I started a new thread here so as not to hijack this one.

How does the yellow retaining clip look? Even with an overpressure event it seems doubtful the hose would blow off, a lot of pressure and not much area is not much force. Even if that hose had a 0.5" diameter and the pump could put out 500psi is still less than 100 lbf pushing on the hose, and that retainer could handle those insane values fine I think.

My guess would be the yellow retainer was messed up to begin with or not properly seated and finally wiggled free enough to let the hose pop off.

You have the part numbers readily available? I can see this being a best practice for some people since it is only plastic and probably not good for more than a few on/off cycles.

Before I tackle this endeavor, can someone confirm my notes are correct below? This is viewed from the passenger side looking toward the drive side. Last question but is it possible to do this without dropping the tank and just loosening the straps all the way to the last few threads?

Looks about right. Although I have non-ffv my ffv canister is set that way. It is possible to do without fully dropping. It is a pain to get the yellow clips set right. I've removed the front strap with a small jack to get an extra inch or 2. Unless your tank is full it's easier to just drop it. I'm getting ready to drop it again to finish up my upgrades. Got about 4 gal in tank.

I’m gonna give it a shot without dropping the tank. If I have to drop it, I might as well upgrade to a dw450 pump or something bigger just to never worry again.

Hard to imagine doing anything with those connections without dropping it. I just dropped the tank today to fix my poor clip install from November. You have 3 connections to remove at the rear of the tank. Then the 2 straps. I used a piece of plywood 18x34 attached to my floor jack to support the tank. I only lowered it about 8” so i could properly reattach my pressure hose.
