5.7 motor mounts

Anyone have link to a video for replacing these? I have Icon 3.0’s and secondary shocks in the front. Not sure what kind of room I will have

 

Was outta cell service in the desert for my birthday weekend, but I'm back now

 

Most of the work is done from underneath, but going thru the fender-well to have easy access to the bolts from that angle helps as well. It really depends on where that secondary shock sits, it may be slightly in the way. The coil-over is mounted in front of the coil bucket tower so that doesn't affect access to the bolts since the tower is there anyway. Taking off the front tires so you can get in close is a big help. I send instructions with the kits that outline the basic dos and donts.

The 5.7 tundras have by far the most room to work and perform installs. night and day easier than the V6 trucks.

Would you recommend replacing the engine mounts on 180,000 mile tundra with these when it’s mainly street driven?

 

I just swapped my mounts to these. I have 211,000 miles. I am sure my truck was never off road, my orignal motor mounts are in good shape. I changed because I plan on a small lift and some dirt time.

 

When the engine mounts wear out and stop supporting the weight of the block and controlling the torque twist you can run into problems even on the street.

Remember replacing your OE mounts with ours isn't just about replacing an old part with a new one. The performance increase in traction, throttle response, and shifting is worth it alone

Along with traction bars, I'd probably never need to use TH

 

Traction bars and the mount are nice… TH will get that power needed working for you

 

Tbh, I rarely use TH. The butt seat thrust just ain't my style of drivin'

Quickest one I could find. Its a flat nickel color basically.

These are the 1st gen tacoma mounts, the 5.7 mounts look alot more impressive with this color.
