Everything is really expensive where I live. A tear down house on a postage stamp lot goes for 600K. I had to drive an hour and it cost $1,400 to install front, rear and an ARB locker in the rear.

I was being quoted 3-3.5k just for the labor...
    And Lubbock is cheap
One shop would do parts and labor for 3.3k but I had to use their parts and he wouldn’t say who made gears...

I got quoted $700 front and rear. That’s with me supplying parts and fluid. Other quotes were around 1k. I am in Northern California

That's a good deal. If they're good they'll finish it in a day maybe a little longer.

They told me it could be 3 days but they were done in a day and a half. The prices they're quoting you seem high but are making me feel better. :D

I paid around 1k for front and rear with oil in SLC. Took three days. But, they also damaged an axle seal o-ring. Didn’t notice the leak until I got home three hours away. That wasn’t fun to replace.

Yeah, RSG told me (just for labor and oil) $1800. Colorado Axle and Gear told me $1,600 for the same.

I haven't done the gears yet, but I got 2 quotes, which included parts and labor, for 3k.

Depending which ratio you go with that's about $1,800- $2,000.

at the time, that was for 4.88s. would definitely be going with 5.29s if I did it now

I think 5.29s are great for 37s but too low for 35s IMO.

Deeds this still hold true? Got your exhaust and love it! BTW.... Thinking of going to 37's from 35's and still in stock 4.10's currently. Do they even make 5.88's for the '14 Tundras? I also haul a heavy Toy Hauler so if so, maybe this is the best case scenario for me.

I wish they had 5.88. That would be what I’d recommend for your scenario.

5.29 is as aggressive as you can get and it would work well for you.
