I placed and order earlier for the rear saw bar and the black TRD shift knob. I’ve been going back and forth all morning about going back in and ordering the CAI. I’m really tempted, but I’m about to drop $1,200 on a Toyota warranty for my Tundra.

I would just go ahead and do it. You're not going to see the CAI again for $255. I grabbed one along with the TRD Exhaust & Oil Cap, then went back and added the TRD center caps. At 40% I felt like I needed to jump on it because I'd likely be buying these parts later at 40% higher cost. Hoping my wife doesn't try to PM the administrators and ban my account on here after spending all this. :oldglory:

I've been reading that buying the airflow accelerator and the trd filter does the same thing without the trd lid and hoses

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Yes and yes. Like most engine mods, their performance is going to maximized with other mods.

Regarding the Throttle body bypass: If you have a laser thermometer, check the throttle body (TB) after driving around a bit. Think of the TB like a hair dryer....doesn't matter how 'cold' the air may be coming in, once it passes over the hot metal coils (aka, TB) the air gets pretty damn hot.

Another topic that has varying opinions on need, is catch-cans. Leaving aside the actual oil they may catch, I personally like the cooling effect they offer to the intake tube and manifold. And by 'cooling' I specifically mean the mitigating of hot gases. If you consider two of the main vacuum lines feed from the valve covers to the intake tube and manifold...which of course is full of hot oil vapor.

Can anybody confirm if TRD Sway Bar - Rear - Red (PTR620C181) will fit a 2016 Sequoia Limited? The Toyota site only say 2018 and 19, but I was under the impression there were no changes to the Sequoia in these years.
    Thanks ahead,
    Dave

Damn I don't need to spend the money, but $189.25 SHIPPED for the sway bar is almost too good to pass up!

Just take the drive. I'm having to drive 120 miles each way from Phoenix to Tucson for my stuff. You'd think they would of had at least 1 dealer in all of Phoenix that was participating, but not my luck.

I'm going back and forth on the same thing. Is it worth it? I know its going to look awesome under the hood, but not have as much affect with the performance in general. Pretty much eye candy.

Heading to Precision Toyota I take it. I looked at this even though I don't need anything it was tempting because it would just be a drive across town for me.

What part of Phoenix are you in? I can pick up for you if you want. I'm in Glendale, but work in North Phoenix (I-17 & Happy Valley area) if that's close to you.

Yeah, I selected Precision Toyota as it was the closest to me. There was another dealership participating in Show Low and I think there was one in Flagstaff as well.

I'm on the fence with the TRD exhaust.

I have been on the fence for a while regarding an exhaust.

I really should put the money elsewhere. 2 hours to decide! Haha

Nearest participating dealer is 10 miles from me. Will be doing local pick up.

Anyone in Atlanta looking to take advantage, check out toyota South or Marietta Toyota.

Does anyone know if there is still a dealer that will do free shipping and the 40% off? I know the Montana dealership put a stop to it already. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the TRD intake system.
