I bought the cap and never got around to installing it on my then 2022 SR5. I traded it in a few months ago for a 24 Limited, if you want you can have mine just pay for the shipping.

Good. Only problems have been when crossing thru Oregon where they pump gas for you and they didn't get it tight. After a few start-ups all the lights on the dash light up, Auto parking brake disabled, Pre Collision System disabled, Radar Cruise disabled and on and on. ( And all it is is the loose cap ) Re-tighten it and after a half dozen starts the error goes away -or- I just reset it myself with my OBD Scan Tool.

Thanks to OP and others who posted good information here. I bought the Stant #10504 at O'Reilly's Auto yesterday for my 2024 SR5 Tundra.($20.41with tax). It does not show as a fit for the truck. None do. Interestingly, it does show a fit to the 2000 Tundra. l installed a locking cap 20 years ago when my 2000 Tundra Limited locking latch broke. Never got around to getting a new latch from Toyota.

I got word a couple months ago of a new locking cap by Stant that IS listed in catalogs for the 3rd gen Tundra. It’s a 17854T. $20 at O’Reilly. Per the specs the depth on the 17854T is only half that of the 10504 (32 vs 64mm) even though they look identical in the pics. The 10504 does bottom out when tightened but it’s been sealing fine for 21K mi. Only twice when it wasn’t tightened all the way did I get emission ctrl warnings. (actually very nice to get a Check Gas Cap warning vs just throwing a Check Engine code)
