Seems like a few of the manufacturer's are stating a max suspension lift of 2.25" with the stock UCAs and axles. I've seen that referenced on 2 places now.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it or not but 1stgenoffroad.com ships all their stuff for free which is a big savings. I don't think they have 3rd gen tundra stuff on their website yet but they are a dobinsons dealer and can order any dobinsons stuff. They sell more than just 1st gen I ordered my 2.5 gen dobs through them saved a few hundred on shipping.

So does Stage 3 Motorsports and they do have 3rd gen Tundra suspension items listed.

@memario1214 now that the Icon kits are available for preorder, do you know when they will actually be shipping? rough approximation?

I have an order in with Stage 3 Motorsports. He called Icon last week and told me they said 12 - 16 weeks.

thanks for the update. It looks like those Icon kits only lift the front and not the rear? Ideally, I'd want 3" front and 1" rear. Maybe I'll just have to add a coil spacer to the rear.

Actually, it's my understanding that the rear Icon shocks will bring the rear up an inch. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Aftermarket Coils or a coil spacer will lift the back.

Funny that I was just talking about this.

It was in the financial news today that TAP has been sold by Polaris and is being acquired by Wheel Pros. WP is the company that owns Fuel, Black Rhino, and a bunch of wheel brands.

More consolidation in the aftermarket parts industry.

is anyone making a 3.5 inch or 4 inch lift?? Also do you still need airbags in the rear to offset sag.

question about the stage 5 kits. I see the rear is only 1 inch in the reach max. With the front being 3.5 won't there be rear rake? and when you add payload won't there be sag? would you not need a 2 inch kit?

Most kits are a 3/1 for a lift & level. If you have heavy enough payload that causes rear squat then you can dial down the fronts. The front coilovers are adjustable on the truck with the Icon spanner wrench.

okay so I currently have a 3 and 1 spacer lift using 3.5 inch billet in front and 1 inch Dobson coil spacer in rear. I am not going to be off-roading anytime soon. Seems like adding a suspension lift might be over kill. Maybe just adding airbags to reduce sag with towing the toys?

Aye. Unless you’re off-roading and need the extra suspension travel that a suspension lift gives you then bags are probably the way to go for you. That’ll solve any squaring you might get from towing a lot cheaper.

Yea thats what I figured. Now the search for bags has been a pain. Most say 2022 tundra but only supports leafs. So the search for that begins in earnest.

Wondering if a 1" rear lift will require a brake house extension

From everything I’ve seen, I would extend it. I plan on it when I start doing a suspension lift. I’ve noticed there is surprisingly very little slack in the rear brake line at full droop, even on the stock rear suspension.

For sure. when I was I stalling the procomp rear coil spacers, no way to get them in without removing bracket. I had seen some extended hoses that were possibly going to be for sale but don’t remember who was going to sell them. I may just have some fabricated locally as they’re def at the limit of length with the bracket re-attached.
