Nice. They look almost exactly like Icon's billet UCAs & rear control arms. Glad to see more billet options out there.

On my 03 Tundra I came up with a quick disconnect for my front anti-roll bar. I drilled holes in the studs and used hardened pins instead of nuts and I could pull the pins and rotate the bar up and out of the way. It worked well, but one time I forgot to put one side back in and ended up shredding a CV boot.

285/65R20 has a little rub at full lock but it's on a rounded surface.

Pretty sure their site has looked that way since the 90s. They just keep changing the vehicle models. I'm glad to see Fabtech getting closer to their roots and building less drop bracket crap. They used to be pretty decent when they first started up.

My front suspension is lifted 3" and the rear is about 1.5" higher than the front so I have a slightly raked stance using a pair of Dobinsons 2.5" spring lift (#C59-167). The specs on the springs says 2.5" lift on a 80-series Landcruiser with 220lb load or 2.5" lift on a 2022 Tundra with stock load. Does this mean the spring rate is 220lbs?

'm expecting to put close to 400 lbs on the truck bed with cargo boxes, a bed rack, tonneau cover, and RRT. I wonder if the 1.5" height difference on the rear is enough lift to get that leveled look when the springs compress after I load the bed with stuff.

What other rear spring options are there if you want to go higher than the 2.5" Dobinsons springs? Are there other 2.5" rear coil spring lifts with spring rates closer to 300 lbs? Maybe OME has springs for the 80-ser LC that would work.

I think I threw this into another thread but here’s a spec sheet for the OME coils for the land cruisers. Not all these are gonna be applicable for the 2022 tundra, but it has the rates and the springs heights. You might want the 2866s that have a progressive spring rate of 300lbf/in. Also the C59-167s are 227lbf/in at 485mm/495mm heights. One coil is taller than the other.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but the OME 2866 seems to be a good choice. The variable rate provides good flexibility.

That's the setup I'm going to run in the rear:
    • Dobinsons IMS59-60687 Shocks
    • OME 2866 Coils
    • Icon 54202 Billete Rear Adjustable Track Bar
    • Extended Brake Lines
I won't be carrying a lot (really any) weight for awhile since RSI won't be shipping their SmartCap for the 3rd Gen until after the new year. So I'll probably keep about 150-200lbs in back there just to have some weight. I know I'll have some rake, but as long as it's ~1" to 1.5" with the small weight, I'm fine with that.

With the new Icon coilovers & UCA setup in the front and this setup in the rear, I'm hoping I'll net a 3" front/2" rear. Similar to the setup that @GO.XPLRE is running on his rig.

Thanks! That's good information to reference.

What is the "free height" on the table? I'm guessing that that uncompressed height of the spring from base to the top.

Looks like you've sorted out your suspension setup. I'm considering swapping the Dobinsons C59-167 for the slightly taller Dobinsons C59-185 that gives me an extra 0.5" of lift. I'm just not certain if will fit. I am assuming it will since it's also for the 80-series LC.

Correct. It's the height of the spring with no compression.

You might contact that team at Dobinsons Direct and ask them what the diameter of the coil windings are. If the winding on the 185 is the same or similar to the C59-169s or C59-167s, then you should be fine. That'll be your primary issue, I would think. The coil windings will need to be close in order to work.

On a side note: Dobinsons also has a variable rate spring, similar to the OME 2866. It's Dobinsons P/N C59-223V.

Yeah that’s the height right out of the box, uninstalled, from what I understand.
If I get a few days free I’ll hopefully get my lift going but Ive got waiting for install.
    • OME 2863s. B coil passenger side bc the gas tank/ battery are on that side. I’ll see how the lean is and adjust accordingly.
    • 3” extended brake lines.
    • Dobinson MRA59-A687s
    • Icon upper and lower links
    • Icon panhard bar
    • Parking brake line relocation brackets from Trd lift kit

Where can I find the specs on the C59-223V? I can't seem to find it on the Dobinsons website.

Great question. I don't have a great answer for you. The guys @ Dobinsons USA recommended that one to me when I on the hunt for rear springs since the 169s & 167s were backordered into oblivion.

They've added 223V to the site, but it doesn't have info on the spring rate. Link to the spring: https://www.dobinsonsdirect.com/pro...oadc59-223v?rq=mk_toyota~md_tundra~yr_2022-on

Honestly, I would email sales@dobinsonsusa.com and give them your current setup specs & future payload estimates. Even though I ended up going with the OME springs (only because the Dobinsons were backordered 2-3 months)...Alan @ Dobinsons USA was very helpful.

Alan at Dobinsons recommended the C59-175V. This will give me a 2" rear lift with a constant load of around 400 lbs on the truck bed. This is perfect for what I need.

I just got off the phone with Mudify.com and ARB. None of them cannot recommend springs for the 2022 Tundra. I'm not sure if they're just being lazy to help or just not knowledgeable on the new Tundra. The tech support at ARB didn't even know the 2022 Tundra now uses coil springs for the rear. He thought it uses leaf springs. LOL. I just wanted to know if they have rear coil springs that would lift the rear by 1.5" to 2" with a 400 lbs constant load. I was on the phone for less than 2 minutes with each company.

On the other hand, Dobinsons actually listened and took the time to help and find a solution.

I'll let you guys guess who's getting my money. LOL

Sounds like it's pretty cut & dry who's getting your money. haha.

I agree with ARB/OME. They make awesome stuff, but honestly...I think their fans do more R&D testing than they do themselves. If it wasn't for seeing people try out OME springs on their own (RPM Off Road is a great example) I don't think I would've known that they worked on the 3rd Gen.

The only issue I have with the Dobinsons springs is that I have to powder coat them gloss black to match the ICON coil springs on the front. I have the Dobinsons C59-167 now and the teal green not matching the black springs on the front is a bit annoying. LOL

Okay...just to confirm after talking to Dobinsons, their C59-175V (variable/progressive rate) rear coil springs will give you a 2" lift with 400-600 lbs of constant load.

How did you get the extended brake lines without buying the rest of the kit? I thought the individual parts were on stop order
