Do you happen to know what their part list is for the lift kits? Specifically what components they are using to make the lift work on the rear end? I’m trying to figure out what shocks will work with the 80 series springs I’m having installed. I’m having the heavy load 2.5” lift 80 series springs installed from OME.

pretty sure you need the 4in lift springs and I do not. You should call Michael over there and ask him. You’re going to need a handful of parts you cannot get elsewhere- sway bar drop, pan hard bar, etc. also don’t forget the extended brake lines

New here - about to get my 22 Black hybrid 4x4 Tundra 1794 edition next week with the advanced package. I was really wanting to get the TRD off road package for the wheels and the grill but I’m not sure if I can buy those separately from the dealership as accessories before it actually comes. Has anyone had experience buying just those two items from the dealership?

search for the 22 oem parts thread and order through Roman, or take his pricing into your dealer and get them to match it- mine does that for his pricing + shipping usually and they arrive faster.

where are you located? I’ll sell you my OR wheels in Idaho here in a few weeks.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. I’m in Alabama so that probably wouldn’t work unless you were willing to ship. I will definitely ask my Dealer about that and see what they can do.

Anyone have any news concerning additions to the Toyota OEM accessories? Specifically, the Power Running Boards and Power Bed Step? Will Toyota even offer it at the dealerships? These are offered from the manufacturer as optional equipment on these trims, but nothing from Toyota for dealer installed accessories. My Tundra came from Toyota Southeast distributor, can they install these types of options after it leaves the factory? If so, any way to get in touch with Toyota Southeast to see what they can offer? Or will AMP be the first to offer these as aftermarket for Platinum/1794 trim levels? Thx!

Does anyone know if you can swap out the SR5 tail light for a Limited one so that you can have the tailgate button?

I know Icon is working with Xoverland already for a build for their Tundra. They already have front basically done. Not sure about production ready but close. The rear seemed further behind. But on their YouTube channel they found out that the LandCruiser rear spring fits and has a better load capacity the the factory Tundra. But Sema is coming in the fall. EVERYONE is going to have stuff ready for fall for sure

Icon will be dropping a ton of products in the next few weeks, problem is everything is 20+ week lead time to build it so it’s a wait!

Not necessarily. They have to update the catalog with all of the Pro parts first.

Pics coming out of Overland Expo West. It seems that Westcott Designs is designing front recovery points with this type of design. No info when they'll come out.

I assume they mount to the frame at the same point as the crash bar and you'll just cut through-holes in the bumper. You won't have the interference issues like some of the other tow hook "add-ons" that are hitting the market.

Interesting option for people who want front recovery points without doing a winch bumper.

Photo Cred to (I believe) Revere Overland for these.

Nice. I am so excited for more suspension lifts to start hitting the market! CHOICES! This is why I ended up slapping in a 2" machines aluminum spacer from the 2nd Gen for $40 vs something more expensive.

would have looked better and cheaper if they went thru the black plastic part instead of the painted parts.

that is going to tear up that painted part.

Possibly they can make a surround that will make it looked less like an add-on.

I can only assume they had to go this route to make it a straight piece to tie into the frame. Bends = weak points. These things, if they get used with a kinetic rope or a snatch strap, are going to see a lot of force put on them. My guess.

i am pretty sure that location they are using is the outside edge of the frame and the black section is on the inner side of the frame if memory serves me correctly.

here is the best i could find, the yellow depicts where the outside placement per the above white fender location would be (approximate) and the blue would be where the inside placement would be roughly.

looking at it a little closer, the yellow would be closer to the blue circles i think, but then again the blue will still be on the inside of the frame.

in hindsight i think that location they are using is mounting a bracket on top of the frame end point that is connecting to the aluminum crash bar. using the pic uploaded by @tunfundra

i think that is where the mustache is coming down slightly to the inside of the frame mount point.

I'm biased here, but to me...it's not worth paying an extra $200 over a $50 machined aluminum 2" spacer off of Amazon just so I can get some cheap bump stop spacers. There is no reason to spend that kind of $$ on spacers unless you just really want to put an Icon sticker on your truck. :)

For bump stop spacers...you can snag unthreaded aluminum spacers off of McMaster.com for less than $5/each. Call it $10/ea if you want to step up into stainless steel.

For $250, I would just slap the $50 1-piece aluminum spacers in with $10-$20 in bump stop spacer hardware and then keep saving for a legit suspension lift. That's what I did (sans bump stop spacers). Waiting on the big names like Icon, Fox, & King to come out a bigger selection of Stage 1 &/or Stage 2 kits so I'll have options to choose from.

    My 2 cents.

Prices seem low for color matched parts. Will be hard to keep in stock.

Mine came out to $615 shipped for the front surround painted. Not horrible if I went the platinum route.

They definitely make plenty of money on shipping.

If I can ship a 500 lbs forklift attachment as an individual person cheaper than they can ship some running boards...then they're doing it wrong. Just saying.

I'm not entirely poo poo'ing Sparks. I think their actual pricing on parts can be fairly competitive, if you can pick up the parts locally.
