Are you printing on glass. I’ve read a few people are doing this, heck I’m not up to speed on how to print either. They look great. I’m trying to decide black out vinyl, or 3D printed rings.

BTW are you selling A/C rings?
Another question is were you able to design a switch plate for the useless sunglasses holder. ?

Ring trial update. Hi all just an update for everyone. I have been running non painted petg rings now for 4 days in south Florida heat and they are holding up very well. Put a final coat of paint on some today and no to see how that holds up. I can’t push on this site that I’m selling them and can no longer ask for subscribers (they banned me for a few days for doing so) so with that said I guess I’ll just tell you how this goes and respond to people by PM when I’m ready. I ordered a textured bed for the printer and gonna try that once it gets here that might be a super cool look without the hassle of painting them. This stuff takes time and I don’t want to send anything out unless it’s right that would just be one big headache for me. Here is a pic of textured print let me know what you think.

 

Is the plan to print them in using black plastic so they won't need to be painted?

 

Yes or so they can be painted whatever color someone would want. I’m not getting into custom colors and painting to much of a pia. I’m hoping the textured prints will work for people then they won’t need sand or paint but they can still paint to their liking if need be.

 

I have the Creality glass bed, it has a slight texture to it.

I don’t want to step on any toes because @Swfltoyomafia already said he was gonna offer them otherwise I would add them to my line up.

The sunglasses holder spot is still in the works but the spot just in front of it is super close to being done...I’ve already sold one for that spot that holds Ford Up-Fitter switches (custom order).

what texture bed is this?? I’ve been wanting one to try and replicate factory style look....people have suggested printing on sand paper but I haven’t tried yet.

Prusa offers a textured bed so I ordered one. I’m a huge fan of these printers light years ahead of most out there.
