3D Printed Vent Ring Covers

I’m new here. Waiting on my truck to be delivered later this week, but would definitely like a set of these when another round is made

The carbon fiber ones that I printed have held up well and not moved at all. The problem is that they are about $60 to run a set since my printer is a $20k printer.

That's actually not too bad of a price for carbon fiber filament plus the better print quality of an absurdly priced 3d printer Of course that's cost to make them not sell price.

can you start making the other chrome cover things but just smooth? or do you guys just have the file for the rings? This stuff is over my head in some ways so excuse anything that doesn’t make sense.

 

I just have the files for the vent rings. Not sure if anyone else can offer any other blackout covers other than AJT.

shoutout to @crewmaxlmt for the vent rings! Came in yesterday, look great and fit nicely! Ignore my dusty truck, dirt roads and driveways around here!

I think I am going to hit them with a quick coat or two of some trim paint to get them to match up colorwise 100% but in person you don't even really notice, it seems more contrasted in the photo than real life.

 

Give them a spray of whatever color you like and they are good to go. I use krylon fusion paint. Dropping tomorrow. Info posted on the ToyoMafia thread.
