Yeah, not hard. Take the driver side A pillar off and go from there. Couple screws and bolts. Cleaner way to route your wire IMHO. Next you'll need need a T20 screw and a screw driver for the headliner console. Pull apart the paper valet holder from the overhead console ( snaps on/snap off kinda thing) unscrew a set of screws, then open the sunglasses compartment and there's another set of screws. Comes down easy after this.
The only one thing I found the most hardest thing to do on the truck was wiring through the fire wall. Silicone and soap is usually a must for this stuff

Will be updating this thread soon. So far just did the cutting with a dremel and it was definitely a PITA in a cold garage. OP I think there should be a option for the envelope holder (alongside with the 8 gang panel holder) that pops off if I could make a recommendation.

Sorry I haven't been updating this as I should have. I've been driving OTR as a CDL driver. I'll get pictures soon.

I will mention that if you do get this. There will be some Dremel work as far as installing this. I discussed with the OP about switching the molding of the card holder or doing another toggle bracket there. I pretty much botched mine but none the less but waiting for his draft still.

There's a couple screws behind but don't botch it like how I did. Hand tightening recommended :anonymous:

Nothing too big. I used too much torque and drilled the screw past the plastic lol. The holes to this mounting solution was hard to gauge exactly mark it and drill pilot holes. Touch it up with epoxy and super glue to ensure the mounting solution will stay. Let's just say botching part is covered up by the mount. If I had any advice measure 10 times and cut

Well like you said..it’s covered by the mount. It looks good.

@angkorstrong are you still making these? Can I get one in white?

Any plans on making the whole panel? That way we don’t have to do any cutting? One big piece to replace the whole envelope holder like this picture ?

Just curious, would you be able to design a mount that could fit the 12 switch switch pro, even if the overlaps the front portion since I have moon roof controls

yes I can make it in white also.

the problem with making the whole panel is there is a plastic you still gotta cut on the backside to make clearance for the switch panel to fit in. remember this panel is flush mounted.

Is there a way to get another 3d print going for the card holder piece?

after going back and forth on multiple projects I finally got this knocked out.

New drop: card/envelope/letter holder replacement in 3 different options.
    2 switch style: $30 shipped , 1 switch & ramball style mount: $40 shipped , blank option $20 shipped
    2 switch style:
    2switch.jpg
1 switch & ramball style holder:
    ramball.jpg
made the extra switch slot so you can add a USB switch to power whatever accessory your going to use for the ramball style mount
    51j4ipMvS8L._AC_SL1000_.jpg

and finally a blank for those who wanna customize it themselves:

Nice! I'm going to have start thinking what option to go with. Hopefully a locker wiring option to be wired down the road.

Yeah I got a hold of SEM and eventually found a shop in MD that does paint matching. I mailed them part of the console (the useless overhead map holder thingy…it just pops right out). They matched it decently close & shipped it back with a 12oz rattle can. It’s a little darker but no biggie. Here’s their info:

    Cliff's Auto Supply
    4727 Conowingo Road
    Darlington, MD 21034
    410-457-4302

    I spoke with Eric
    12oz aerosol can: ~$30 + shipping
