    More than likely.

Run it to empty. If you're filling up 20 gallons, you've got the 26'er. If you're filling up 28-32 gallons, you've got the big bloke.

    *edit*
You can peak under the bed too. Big fella runs just about 4-5' long.

Easy to determine from under the truck. If it has 3 straps, it's the 38 gallon, 2 straps is the 26.

Can't see the tank under. There is a long cover and you can't see crap under that :(

If you look next to the drive shaft you should see the straps, the middle strap is on the same crossmember as the carrier bearing, and if you have the 38 gallon it has an extra crossmember looping under the drive shaft, just behind the exhaust crossover.

Here you can see the 3 straps on mine:
    upload_2023-11-9_17-3-5.png

Here is a better shot at the front strap with dedicated crossmember looping under the drive shaft:

Ran er past empty after a last minute urgent work request. Able to squeeze more almost 33 gallons in.

Seems like a lot of work for just an 8 gallon gain.

https://www.tundras.com/threads/46-gal-transfer-flow.25519/ I just simply searched this and found this thread. Like Mike said, that's an expensive upgrade for only 8 gallons. Now if you have the small tank, then yes I could see it being worth while to do the upgrade. YMMV

That was initially my thought as well. I was calculating the weight difference and it's negligible. But it also opened the thought of, once installed the PID for the tank size would need to be adjusted. So it was curiosity biting at me to understand if anyone had seen larger tanks than the 46 upgrade, I see diesel tanks but that is for diesel applications.

    Too many, but not enough....
If you have a center console, you have the 38 gallon tank. If you have 6 seats and a column shifter, you have the 26 gallon tank.

Did some searching on tundras.com forum in other generations there is no post Long Range or Transferflow mod to have DTE be correct. Just posting here in case someone else was searching for the same.

Actually mine is the 38. Just loaded the Toyota app in my phone, put in the VIN and got all the specs available, every option or upgrade that is included.

DTE will never be correct with the new tank. I don't believe anyone has found a way to modify the tank size for the dash calculation. If you have a 38, I would not do it. It's a ton of work and a decent amount of money. From full, 2 clicks on the pump, I'll get about 730miles.

Wow. $2.63!! Only $64 for 3/4 tank. Geez! I can only wish. But still, what's with the only 414miles and I'm showing close to 600miles on mine when I fill up. That's a dramatic difference.

So jealous. 87 at the Chevron down the street is $4.90 right now. 91 is at $5.30 :annoyed: That's what my Taco takes

Why is your taco taking 91? OV tune?

Ohio has been around the high $2's lately. It's nice. Even saw Diesel at $3.69 off the highway at a truck stop last night.

Interesting about the low fuel light and the actual amount of fuel left in the tank, On my 21 I have taken it as low as needing 34 gals to refill, never had a problem? I just figure when the light comes on I have 75 to 100 miles left till I'm walking.
When I first got my truck I was paranoid about getting low, but the 28 gallon refills just didn't seem right so I pushed it a few times and know when the light comes on I know I have at least 50 miles before really needing a fill. Usually around 32 gals.

That's the only bitch I have with any of the Tahoe/Sequoia/Expeditions. Their tanks are too small in comparison to the 36 (Ford) and 38 gallon Tundra. Whenever I embark on a long drive to a new place I plan my fuel and rest stops ahead of time. Solo I go 500 miles comfortably between refueling-pretty much lunch time so it makes sense. Towing, I plan my stops every 280-330miles. If its a multi day trip, I always end the day by refueling so I can in the morning, get in, start up and go.
