35's on 3 inch boss lift

35x12.5R20 and they barley stick out. With a cab mount chop I don't see why these wouldn.not fit

 

what size lift do I need to clear 35's

 

At least 3" lift and the correct offset wheel. Or a 6" like I have.

 

How far out does -44 offset sit out past truck, maybe 4 inches??

 

-44 offset is big man. I mean wide. You'll need more than a little lift for that. unless you're going for the "it'll never see mud" and "look at all my chrome" look.

 

I was joking lol. I've heard that question more times then I care to count. I just couldn't hold back.

 

you can essentially fit whatever you want. You can fit 37's on a 2inch lift if you wanted. just depends on your level of ingenuity and how much beer you have. Ask CMLENNY about that.

Oh yeah absolutely. I had 35's on my Tacoma with just a cab mount chop and 4" lift. Did it all myself. If still had a garage and welding machine I would just do this myself. Which is why I have to have a shop do this. Just trying to clarify that my wheels and tires will fit with just 3" and a cmc

 

I was wondering....

 

The CMC takes care of the backside of the wheel well. You still have to address the front. Trimming and moving the liner.

 

So just plastic will be in the way. That's fine by me.

 

If you've got a heat gun and a dremmel then you are in business. Heatgun is a great way to just reshape it and get it out of the way.

 

Yeah that's something I can do at home.

lol, ya I sure did, I ordered a 6inch lift and said fuck it.

 

But I did call the company and they seem to think I may have a 1.5 and not a 2.5 lift installed. I told them I was beyond done with it and just was tired of dealing with the "could be this or could be that" from them.

 

Man, seems like that's the ONLY thing it could be!
