I tried searching but only came across one thread. I just lifted my truck 3 inches and am looking to put 35s on my stock platinum for a more oem+ apperance but I am not sure if I need spacers to clear the UCA or not. I know some guys run 1.25-1.5 spacers for a little poke but would I need to buy them in order to run 35's? Or am I better off getting a 295/60?

sorry it took so long to get u information.

folks around here are usually very responsive; maybe no one had ur answer.

this is by far the best tundra forum out there! don't let an occasional quite crowd run you off.

im running a 3/1 readylift w/ 295/60/20 toyo at2's on FACTORY wheels. only had to remove the front front mudflap (meant to type front twice - removed the small flap attached to front bumper)

no trimming or rubbing at all. with the 295 width, i have about 1/4" clearance between tire sidewall and uca. it's tight, but does clear without problem.

i would think trimming would be necessary to run 35's. if ur tire width stays less than 11-3/4", you shouldn't have clearance issues w/ uca

i do have some 1.25" bora wheel spacers on order and also ordered the front bumper shims for added clearance; both from ekstrom designs / coachbuilder.

Can that monster still fit in a garage or is it tall?

Trucks looks great btw, looks exactly like the setup I'm going to go with!

    thanks tundraman.

height wise, it fits in the garage; the first time i pulled in, i had the sunroof open and went very sllooowwww. seems i have about 2" clearance.

i pull it in the garage for shade while i clean and make it shine, or change oil

length wise, it does not fit in the garage; too long by about 6 inches (that's what she said).

i really like the mild lift, stock wheels, larger tires look. seems like most others around town are running 6" lift (minimum) with 20" or 22" aftermarket wheels that stick out each side by about 10 feet (obviously exaggerating). they also like to run 10 inch wide wheels with tires made for an 8; side walls are stretched out so much that i have NO idea how the shop sets the bead (seems very dangerous).

additionally, 3" is about as high as i can go and still fit the parking garage at work.

I’m actually curious to see this too. I just bought a TRD big brake kit... It won’t work with what I have. I think most aftermarket 20s look kind of ill proportioned on tundras. I may just have to sell the brakes off and keep my rock warriors.

    First time poster, longtime reader!

I know this thread is a little old but would you mind posting a few more pics of your truck? I recently got a 2018 Lmtd and really dig your setup with the stock wheels and 295's. So I was hoping to get a few more angles of your truck, as I plan on copying your set up in a couple months.
