    Hey all,

Well a few reasons have motivated me to go for the 31m AGM upgrade in the Tundra:

    1) My factory battery (27F) has a dead cell, therefore requiring replacement.

    2) As I’m moving to Wyoming in the middle of winter, I’m looking for as many CCA and reserve as I can cram in to tolerate the cold (it got to -19 in a cold snap in October)...I’ll also be installing a battery blanket-style warmer and an OEM style block heater.

    3) While the dual battery setups from SDHQ and Genesis interest me, they are both very expensive.

    4) Finally, the extra CCA will prep me for extra lights and accessories down the line.

Anyways, with all of that being said I have decided on:

    Northstar 31m
    GP Audio terminals
Coupe 2nd Gen. battery hold down (PM sent to Coupe, waiting for reply)

Looking for your suggestions on what else is needed? I watched ********* YouTube video on installing a 31m, but don’t know what cable/length or connectors to order to replace the factory ones. Mine are looking nasty (image attached below). Anyone have some experience with this?

I’ll be editing this post with more information...but for now here is a 31m Northstar installed with Coupe’s hold down and the “big three” wire upgrade.

Good to know. Was wondering if a 31 would fit but went with a NorthStar 27F. Next time around I'll look into this. How hard was the Big 3 upgrade?
