So I went to the garage that’s going to be doing my lift the other day. They are currently working on price lists and fitment. I told them I’m going ome w Dakar leaf pack and doc uca. Icon rebound 17 and 315/70/17 tires.

The lady up front called me up today and said that she was talking to @Toytec Lifts and they said that a 315/70/17 won’t fit with a three inch lift. (Given she said they have not test fit)

So I guess I’m looking for some info from @Toytec Lifts, maybe @sdhq_offroad. From everything I read on this forum that should work and if anything I’d only need a cab mount chop and even that seems to be a split, some need it some don’t.

The shop I’m getting it done at typically does jeeps, but there’s only one other shop that does lifts in the area and I’m not a fan of them, so they aren’t very familiar with tundra although they said they have done a few and they did my taco.

I'm running 305 70 18 which is taller and and similar in width. The height and width from Tire manufacturers don't all conform. A Mickey Thompson 305 is .3" taller than the Yokohama 305.
So, there are a lot of variables, caster, ACTUAL tire size, wheel offset etc...... It should work but there's no way to say with 100% accuracy w/o ALL the #s

Ya idk. I gotta call up the shop today I was going with bfg ko2’s which are 34.4 tall. I believe the wheel are +25 offset and I have no idea about caster and such lol

My tires are 34.8" tall, 12.4" wide. The wheels are +18 and I've 4.5* of caster and I've done the BMC. I've got no rubbing issues. Your + 25 offset is a bit less likely to rub. I'd say do it if you're willing to do the BMC and lightly trim/ manipulate some plastic.

Ya that’s what I’m leaning toward. The message she left sounded like a ‘omg your crazy these aren’t gonna fit’. Then off course I work nights so I’m thinking about it all night lol. But when I called this am she basically just read what it looked like toytec wrote to her and that’s basically they don’t test fit and what they have seen that works. Told her what size I’m running now (stock), and I explained to her about the mud flaps coming off and some plastic remolding. She said you ok, and that’s she’s still working on what I want (I mean it took me about 20 mins to find everything I wanted so lol) :notsure:

It’s cool though I’m in no big rush thinking end of July early August I wanna do it.:drunk:im just chillin for now stackin some moneys

I have 315 KO2 on rock warrior with 1.25 spidertrax currently. No rubbing anywhere. Was catching the uca (icon billet uca) at full lock in reverse so it got spacers. Hasn’t ever rubber body mount.

How much do your tires stick out if at all? Any pics of it. I'm thinking of doing something similar. I'd like to go 315/70/R17. or 305/65/R17. Thanks for any help.

Disregard request for pics, I saw yours on your album.

I have the same wheel setup as you. What size lift are you running to fit 315/70r17 tires? I have icon stage 3 with Delta joint uca. I'm running 285/75r17 right now but want to go up to a 315/70r17.

Did you have to do anything to keep the 285/75r17s from rubbing? That’s the size I plan to go to but I’m on a +1 offset rim so it’ll be a little different. Just trying to figure out if I’ll need a BMC

I put icon stage 3 lift on. With rock warrior wheels (+50offset) I rubbed on corner of skid plate at full lock. Put 1.25 inch spidertrax spacers on. which made me about +18 offset. I clear skid plate now at full lock. I did rub a little on front mud flap after spacers. I took it off. Hope that helps
