Wanting to run toyo at2 285/25r18. Curiuos of benefits and negs. With block vs. Leaf. Also with those tires what is good offset that you have little to no trimming and dont stick out terribly far. I am looking to add 1.5 inch fender flares.

Hoping some other guys with these tires will chime in.

I prefer AAL+shackle combo. CoachBuilder and ToyTec both offer decent shackles. There are different AAL. Not sure what brand I have. Quite possibly Pro Comp. They were already on my truck. Blocks add height. Not much else.

Any wheel 8.5 to 9 wide with about a 4.5 - 5in backspace, may wanna try 295-70-18. It'll look better IMHO.

285's gonna make the truck look like it needs some protein, especially if you wanna run fender flares.

You might wanna search AAL vs blocks in the search engine because its been asked a trillion times and I'm trying to help you from getting:bananadead:

If you’d of read through it, it would’ve. Plus it would’ve told you you really don’t even need but a small lift in the front to fit 285/65-18, as I’m assuming that’s the size you’re referring to.
