    Hey guys

I m sure this question has been answered a few times but I couldn't any posts (slow me). I am thinking of doing 3 inch lift but don't want to sacrifice ride quality or handling. Saw some posts about toytec lift. I only want to do it for looks and no practical reason(S).

What do you guys think? Any such lift kits exists without sacrificing performance and handling??

The Toytec Boss kit rides pretty nice, and seems to handle well. I've ridden in @Sean266's CM and it rode really smooth. That's what I'll be going with once I acquire the necessary pieces.

Thanks Zcarp. I have heard about boss kit as well.

Toytec has boss kit and Redflo.. I m trying to figure out the difference. Anyone running boss kit or redflo currently?

The Boss kit is a 2.0 and the Radflo a 2.5. This refers to the size of the piston in the coilovers, basically: the bigger the number, the more oil a coilover contains, which equals less shock fade when it's really put to work. Both will give 3" of lift. For daily driving and occasional off-roading, the Boss kit will treat ya just fine.

Make sense now. I Like the lifted look but I drive my truck like a car. I sometime drive my friends F250 which is too bumpy and handling is more like driving a U-haul. I don't want to spend the money and drive in the right lane at 55mph.:(

No, I don't have a sway bar but I will b adding one. I read in the forum somewhere one member added a front sway bar from Seqouia. I m not sure if I am gonna do that but TRD rear sway is definite.

Yes, I like the way it handles now. I don't like the bumpy ride in F250 but I m ok with the firmer ride and handling.

3 inch lift only. OEM wheels and Tires will stay the same 275/55/R20... 80% highway driving, 10% towing (of course my Porsche) and other 10% trail or uneven Chicago roads.
Do I get you' all blessing? Should I go ahead and do it?

Pic is from a Toyota Hilux built for Australian market. Looks fine on Hilux but I guess Tundra is too wide and big for it.

I ordered BAmuffler today from Keith at dirtydeeds. Can't wait to do all these mods. I know I will be kicking myself once I see my spending on Thundra.

Ok i just swapped from the Toytec Boss 2.0 to the Toytec/Radflo Boss 2.5. I thought the Boss 2.0 were nice but wow the 2.5s soak up so much more of the imperfections in the road.
