On a similar but seperate note,

I have a CM with no added weight up front. My wheeling style I am VERY happy I went 600lb coils vs rhe 650/700 options which were available.

The ADS 3.0 only come with 650lb from them....

Anyone have any feedback on their 3.0 setups in these regards?
Please note which mfg you have and what the spring rate is. Thanks

Icon's come with a 600lb spring rate but there is no option for heavier springs with their set up. So if you plan on doing a heavy bumper/winch set up, it may not be the shock for you. You could always do a 1/2" bumpstop spacer which gains you another 1/2" of preload. We have that done on our shop truck.

ADS doesnt offer anything except the 650lb.

Makes me curious why there arent multiple options for coil rates on the 3.0.

Doesn't coil rate only "affect" valving around 5-8%?

Its the the block heights of the coil spring rate. For Icon's 16" spring set up, going to a 650 or 700lb increase the block height which limits the amount of preload. Mathematically, the lose of available preload yields the same lift height as the 600 with more preload.

Total Coil Length - Shock Travel Length - Block Height = Available Preload before coil bind.

Also, Icon's coils are a 16"x3.63x600, not 3.75 ID. So they are a little narrower to provide a little bit more clearance.

Lot more involved that appears from the surface.

I really do like the 600lb coils currently though :(

3.0's with 600lb coils and zero preload (thank you spindle) rides like clouds on and off road.

    So it moved itself?
Should be to where the polished portion ends, about an inch or so more outward

I'm not even sure that it's the rack. When I start hitting bumps off road I feel something in the steering wheel, hard to describe, but it feels like the vibration you might notice from a rod being loose inside a cylinder. I don't know for sure that it's the rack, might be the half shaft? There isn't any play in the steering wheel..... meaning that the truck tracks straight and the steering doesn't have slop.
I have a 175* turn at the bottom of the hill where I live. I was turning there (full lock) when I felt/ heard a slight pop that seems to coincide with the time that the steering issues began. At the time I was running Camburg ball joint arms. Unfortunately I don't know what the caster was at. All this is circumstantial and should be taken with a grain of salt 'cause I've got no actual proof. It's all merely my conjecture from what I've experienced.

Found a 16" 600lb coil that has more "travel" / has a smaller block height than its Eibach counter part. It would seem the actual diameter of the coil itself may be smaller (smaller OD) which may remedy the contact issue with the tie rod?...hmm

If I get back into a Tundra, I would be going with a TC UCA and King 3.0's with 700lb springs. Anyone run this combo and have problems?

Icon 3.0’s with Icon Billet UCA’s. No contact that I know of so far.

Wish I would have had this information/recommendation when I was planning my build.
Custom Pac Springs through @sdhq_offroad are off the table and from what I hear so are attempts from Icon with Eibach.
Can you explain the bumpstop spacer situation? Brand/material/height?
    Any modifications required?

Pelfreybilt front bumper is on order. Is this an option or is looking for new coilovers in my future?

What are the rest of your trucks specs?!

So the PAC 600lb coils would cause more contact as they are about 1/4"larger OD then the 650 eibach on the ADS 3.0s. Poop.

It's all in the alignment. I had to go back a second time. It was a shame, because I liked the way it drove after the first alignment better.
