Hi guys. I’m following this thread closely. I would like to purchase the grill and the overlay to cover the ugly part. I’m having trouble finding where to order the grill. I’ve never used Alibaba but I created an account the other day and posted a question about ordering it and getting a better shipping price. I’ve gotten no response. Am I doing something wrong? Any help or additional links to make it easier would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 

Here’s my situation. I have a 2008. The grill arrived and doesn’t fit in the 2008 surround. Do I need to buy a 2010-2013 grill and the brackets for this to work? Something so simple always turns into the most difficult task it seems. Any input is appreciated

When I was searching out the grill I found over 5 sellers. I would recommend asking each one of them for a price out the door shipped. Some are a lot more responsive then others.

 

Check the marketplace, check offerup, fb, etc... People are dumping oem grilles all the time, no need to buy new.

Also, didn't realize the alibaba grilles were limited to '10-13's, good to know.

Also, if you guys get one of the sellers to give you a really good deal, post the seller so everyone knows which one.

 

What are the part numbers that you ordered from Sparks?

Does anyone know the part number for a 2nd Gen grill surround in Silver Sky Metallic? Can't find it for the life of me.

 

correct me if i'm wrong but there is none, rock warrior did not come in that color. i think you will have to get it color match.

 

Thank you for the info. I think I will end up color matching it myself. I wanted to see if I could save myself the hassle of all the prep work and painting.

 

If I’m not mistaken, Silver Sky is one of the colors sold by Duplicolor in a rattle can. Save you a few bucks over having to buy custom mixed paint.
