I was told there were tabs already there for the 30" opening as well as the floods.

    Update!

just got off the phone with Mike, he gave me an update on production.

our group buy sold 7. Meaning 7 people used the discount code, two people after our deadline but he will honor the discounts and included them. So we sold 7!

There was also a run of bumpers sold before ours. I think those are the ones in the Instagram pic. Ours are being pushed back a couple weeks. So anticipated middle of February instead of the beginning.

Once the orders are starting to ship he is going to figure out a way to refund us the group buy discounts.

After some research, I just ordered some S2 Pros with bracket mount... hopefully those are the right lights based on the info in this thread.

I'm really hoping they can just be spliced into the stock wiring for the stock fog lights, but this will be my first attempt at wiring aftermarket lighting on a vehicle... Hopefully it is all just 12v though?

I got the combo wide/narrow beam "driving" pattern. I'm also not sure if they are strictly legal for on-road use, but since vehicle inspections and that kind of thing aren't big around here I doubt it will be a problem. The stock headlights are pretty bad by modern standards so hopefully these will help.

The light bars... yeah, my personal thought is that they look a little boy-racerish on a daily/street driven vehicle, but I took a brief look anyway... the prices there instantly dissuaded any thoughts I might have ever had about buying one of those.

im in the same boat. I have some s2 pros i ordered from rago during the black friday sale and it came with the baja designs rebate. So i got them for a steal. I am going to wire them straight to the factory wiring to work with the OEM fog switch on the light stalk/stem. I currently have some baja squadrons wired up the same way and they have worked flawlessly.

I am now hunting for a 30" s8 baja light bar. It does come with a hefty price tag but the performance, warranty and design are what im looking for. I can't wait to light up some trails with my new found light power!

A few more weeks guys! we are getting close. I know the first majority or weeks flew by, they did for me, but now that we are close the anxiety begins!

I probably wish I'd bought the lights at that time, but wasn't far enough along in my research/planning/decision making to really have any idea what I was looking at.

I'm wondering if anyone has a good install video for the bumper that we can post here for the record? I found one where the guy is cutting the bottom 2/3 of the bumper off (I think that is the Rock Warrior bumper based on info here?) Mine is already in two pieces as I think most are so hopefully won't have to do any cutting. In that video it looks like the entire lower plastic piece (or chrome in my case) just comes right off when the cut is done so I'm guessing there are some other differences as well.

    Whatever you guys do.

check out rago fabrication for the best price on baja designs lights. They absolutely kill it.

I just asked for best price on an s8 30” and it was great.

Not really what I think of as "molle" but if they make a version that can fit on the interior wall of the center console I might be interested..

yeah me too, but I wonder if standard molle straps will weave on to the panels. But I like the holster adapter idea

Holy crap... yeah I wouldn't be installing anything in that weather.
Well since I got her, cosmetic changes already done:

    -Paint correction
-Fixed major ding and repainted tailgate
    -Removed junky brush guard
    -Goofy aftermarket sticker removal
    -Black badges
    -Matte black rear oem-like bumper
    -Stubby antenna
-Just now plasti-dipped the stock wheels to see how it is with the black wheel look. I think I like it.

    To do:

-Front bumper and fog lights (lights are here, come on bumper!)
-Got to do something with the front grill and surround
-Shocks/springs/leveling (I'm thinking Bilstein 6112s after reading here, but still researching)
-New/bigger tires and need to decide whether to stick with these wheels or go to something a little bigger. I also got some factory 20's off a Sequoia and drove on those for a while.
    -Exhaust
-Some sort of easily flippable but moderately secure bed cover

    After that she'll be done.

My bumper is on the move! Got tracking updates from the shipping company.

I will put a call in to Mike tomorrow about the additional %5 discounts as well as the shipping rate didn’t reflect the discount for holding the bumper at the hub for pick up.

    Im owed about $65ish

That's interesting, I think I was charged the correct shipping amount when they originally hit my card last year. I would just be waiting on the 5% discount.

they later reduce the shipping cost to zero I think but that's not when I bought.

I just sent an email regarding the 5% additional savings for the group buy as well as my shipping charge.

anyone else get shipping notices and final invoices. Let me know if there is anything off besides the 5% group buy discount and I can try and get it all taken care of at once

No shipping status on my end (not worried, its way to cold). My order was under the free shipping promo and it can only come to residential, since there are no hubs close to me. So im really not worried about the 5% back ($38.35). I added on powder coating after the GB closed. Its such a smoking deal in the end. And I'm betting the cost of shipping up here to a residential address was pretty high. Either way I'm more then happy with the GB.

Thanks for pulling it off @Jwood562 ! And thanks @RESZfab for the awesome GB as well!

Anyone else get a shipping notice?

I think my bumper is stuck due to weather. It hasn’t moved from IL since Friday
And it’s supposed to be here in CA by Friday.
    Don’t think it’s happening lol

I've been checking my email daily and have not had a shipping notice come yet. I'm in Michigan and I know Reszfab is in Ohio so hopefully it doesn't take too long once it gets shipped.

Ok. I want to know when the rest of you guys get shipping notices and the 5% we are due.

Also if anyone else needs shipping adjusted like I did.

No shipping notice on my end as well. I’m assuming Mike is shipping out our bumpers in the order received so I’ll probably be one of the last on his list.

@DVCNick shipping adjustments were for those that had to pay for shipping on their original purchase. I believe sometime in November (when I purchased) RESZFab offered free shipping on all orders and @Jwood562 confirmed with Mike that he would retroactively refund shipping charges to those that had already paid. (Please correct me if I’m wrong though)

Wow well first I have heard of that (it is possible I just didn't pay enough attention before) and would be great if true.
