2nd Gen RESZ fabrication group buy/discount thread! its live!

Mine feels like plastic as I recall...

 

I have a rock warrior limited and even on the single piece bumper the upper is plastic.

 

Yeah they are plastic.
Does anyone know if the supports behind the bumpers are the same?

I currently have the one piece rock warrior front bumper. Will I need any different supports or brackets swapping over the top valance?

 

Also sorry for the delay in the updates about the winch model. I work nights and by the time I wake up he is closing up. I’ll call Wednesday

 

Good question, in looking at the diagrams I believe you will need a bracket as well to hold the top cover.

 

Anyone contact Resz about a winch bumper?

I'm probably out of this due to limited funds at the moment, but still trying to find a way to make it work. I reached out to Mike at Resz Fab for more details about the delivery option of shipping to the nearest hub. He said they usually ship via Central Transport or YRC Freight, and that Central is
typically cheaper.

I also asked about the winch bumper, and Mike said that he's been swamped and hasn't had any extra R&D time to work on it, and is not sure when he'll be able to.

I work nights so my work week makes it a little hard to make calls especially to the east coast when I’m in California. I was planning on calling tomorrow but now I don’t have to!

Woot! Both shipping companies are very close to me.

 

Hopefully we'll have a lead time estimate at some point since they are hitting our CC's now.

 

Thats what im waiting on is a lead time, just for a piece of mind!

 

So when I first called and ask about lead times, Becky told me they are running about 12 weeks out on fabrication products.

when I got a hold of mike and set up this group buy, I forgot to specifically ask him about lead time on the bumper

 

No, problem! I was pretty surprised that both had hubs less than 45 mins from me.

I meant to ask about lead times as well, but totally forgot. I called a few times this morning and it went to voicemail every time so I just sent an email. Mike responded in exactly 30 minutes, so I just shot him another asking about lead times. I'll update this thread with his answer tomorrow.

 

I'm going to have to wait on the winch bumper being in Colorado and all I need a winch for all these jeep trails. If I get high centered on a rock I at least want to be able to pull myself off. They don't call em the rocky mountains for nothing. Thanks for all involved with the communication and setting this up definetly a deal for anyone wanting what I think is the best 2nd gen bumper out there.

 

Mike wrote me back this morning and he said with the group buy going until the mid/end of November, his best guess is that the bumpers will start shipping out around the end of January - February.

I also sent him a link to this thread and he said he'd check it out when he got time. So if there's anything you want him to see - go for it!

Just to totally clarify for anyone looking, this is how it has played out on my order thus far:

-The current baseline discount on the website, for anyone, is 10%.
-When you checkout using the group buy code posted by Jwood, you get an additional 5% off the price of the item at checkout.
-You select your shipping options at the time of checkout and pay the listed number now.
-Based on future quantity reached and shipping special instructions (if you plan to pick up at the hub) you'll have a refund of approximately 35 (if 5 total), 70(if ten total), or 100 bucks (if ten total and pickup at the hub) at the time of shipping.
