I think the "official how big a tire can I run" thread indicates you need a 3" lift to run 285/75/18. If you have a TRD Pro, you're covered.

That's how it is for "2.5gen". I haven't seen the official numbers for the 3rd gen.

Depends on the offset. I am lifted 4" in the front with 285/70's. The 285/75's won't fit. I would need a body mount chop at a minimum.

Sounds like the 0 offset is the issue. I’m on OEM wheels (+60) and have no issues with 285/75s. No cutting or remolding or anything.

Also only on a 2” lift here. I have the TRD Pro suspension. You don’t need more lift if you’re running OEM everything.

Yep...the 0 offset is not in my favor.

Sorry I don't understand what offset is yet. You're likely right!

I didn't have to do anything special to get them to fit on my '15 TRD Pro. Although I do have a custom bumper so the front fenders are already gone.

Since UCA clearance came up earlier, I took a photo of mine.

Here is the simple explanation about offsets. Mine is a 0 offset. I have an aftermarket bumper as well. The 285/75 won't fit on mine with that offset due to how close the tire is to rubbing the body mount on the back side of the wheel well.

Thanks for this, I have a ‘21 Pro, all stock except I do think the PO installed spacers since it has the oem fender flares. Oem tires still sit a little too inside the flares for my taste. There is something blue behind the wheel that’s got to be a spacer, just haven’t had to pull a wheel off yet. I was hoping to go with 285/75 Falken Wildpeaks without any mods on stock pro wheels unless @SCSPerformance ever rolls out the Blaze 10 in 5 lug. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
