Just installed ridge grapplers 285/70r18 on stock trd pro rims. I noticed it stand higher than the michelins ltx but with full reversed turn it did rub on those front guards.so i did removed them and no more rubbing whatsoever. Also with spidertraxx spacers on it.

Very nice!! If you don’t mind, I’d love to see some more pictures from other angles, and with the whole truck in the picture.

If these will fit stock wheels with just +1.5” in the front AND it doesn’t kill your power I think that’s a winning combo.

Both trucks look great! I'm about to go with the same tire on my '17 Pro. Did you do the spacers for look/stance or were they too close to the UCA's for comfort?

I ended up adding 1” Bora spacers to mine after I created this thread. They were not too close to the UCA, but I wanted the truck to have a bit wider stance. I think it turned out great.

Thanks for the quick replies, I'll probably do the same with spacers just for peace of mind. Also ctraut5, I just saw you are in G-town, I'm in Bartlett Where did you get your tires at? The best I've found so far is Discount Tire.

I bought them at Wheel Tek of Memphis. Discount Tire completely messed up my wife’s wheels last time I went there.

Could you post pics of the truck with the 1" spacers (would like to see how it looks vs. prior to spacers)?

    Thanks!

Damn that looks good. Some black housing tail lights would really top it of imo.

I went ahead and removed the front small mudflap but the tires cleared them with a little room to spare. I've got 1.25" spacers ordered, so I figured that would cause them to rub so I went ahead and pulled them.

I will try to take some pics tonight. Apparently I haven’t taken any of it since the spacers.

I just put the 285/75/18's on my 2019 TRD PRO and yes they fit nicely, however, there is rubbing on the front mud flap while turning in reverse. I haven't noticed any rubbing in drive tho???

Any issue with trimming the stud with those 1” spacers? I’ve heard that was an issue for some.

The 1" spacers were no problem on mine. My studs are basically even with the spacers. Even if they stuck out more it wouldn't be a problem. The 2019 Pro wheels have voids behind the wheel where the studs line up, so there is a bit of open space for them.

I also have the black ‘19 Pro and looking at these tires. I understand they only come in a 10 ply at this size.

For those that have them on this truck:
What tire pressure are you running at?
Any issue with the tire pressure sensors?
Is the ride noticeably louder or tougher?

    Thanks for any info.

Looks great. I planned on 295's for my next tire but now I'm thinking that the 285's might be the ticket.
