    Stock for now.
All I just picked up some method double standards in 17 inch for a good deal.

My question is if the 285/70/17 will fit without rubbing on a stock 4x4

Wheel is 17x8.5 with a zero offset.

I know the tire size is stock for a rock warrior but I want to make sure the offset isn't going to cause issues.

^^^^^Ditto. You will like running with 17" rims/tires. I'd prefer the 17s over my 18s.
