Trying to decide between 275/60/20 non-LT vs 275/65/20 LT tires (probably Nitto Terra Grappler G3). My question is how similar, or not, will the ride/stiffness of these tires be? My thought is that the taller LT tire will be "about" the same ride/stiffness as the not LT shorter sidewall.

This is on a 2023 TRD 4x4 1794 stock truck.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

ps: any risk of rubbing with the 275/65/20 LT's? I have read several threads and it seems that all the way up to 35 inch diameter is fine, and these would be 34 inches so should be quite fine. :)

I think you should be fine with the bigger tire and not rub.

I would go LT all day, the 10 ply tire prevents sidewall damage and if you ever wanna off road or tow, you’ll need it. I like a stiffer ride personally and hate squishy squirmy feel in the road.
