Just picked a 24 midnight black that I’ll be doing the basics with. Will be getting a lift, tires, probably gfc, and maybe armor. But the main thing, will be to tow my fzj80 that I plan on making the real crawler and camping build. Starting with a 3rd gen Tacoma, went to a gladiator on 40s, then back to the 90s for my Landcruiser. But I did trade in my 23 Corolla GR for the tundra which I’m gonna miss for sure.

Is it really an over landing Toyota if you don’t put a heritage grille on it? Gotta get one for the 80 series as well. Searching high and low for a cheap bed cap but after that the next mod is icon or dobinsons suspension and some 37 cooper st maxx’s

6 37x12.50r17 cooper st maxx’s with no miles for only $100 each? Oh yeah no brainer. Ran these tires two other times on the Tacoma they are the best for wheeling and daily because they are all terrain so good in the rain, and are snow rated! It’s going on the Tundra during snowy weather but the main purpose is for the Landcruiser. Both no lift, tundra shouldn’t need cutting besides the body mount because it’s not going to wheel I don’t need the articulation, but the landcruiser will be chopped up real good. We love ourselves low center of gravities.

37s with no lift is definitely possible, but it looks a little truck rice from the side view with how visible the rake is. Maybe I will do a 2 inch lift all around. Would want to keep the rake so I can tow the Landcruiser. *these tires will be put on my landcruiser but maybe keep on the tundra when not wheeling my cruiser*
    Gorgeous wheel though!

Okay, here’s what the 37s ACTUALLY went on. Also no lift! I still gotta get the inner fenders bent up but full flex can clear (also at full lock) Considering putting them on the tundra from time to time until cooler starts selling st maxx in 37s again.

Got a cap, was going to throw the wheels from the fj80 back to the tundra but messed them up really good in Vermont, wheels coming eventually
