22 TRD Pro / Heritage Grille Camera Mount Bracket

Ya I already found it.

 

Do you have more of the wiring schematics? Looking for hybrid fuse box (under rear seat) and the 1794/ platinum/ capstone/ pro headlight harness

 

my TIS sub expired a week ago, so i don't have access anymore unless i pay again, the image from the above post was from parts.toyota.com and anyone can view that site

 

*** UPDATE ***

got some great feedback from Hugo, in the pictures he sent, it seems to fit pretty darn well, and is very close to being an accurate fit
appears the X shaped part of the bracket for the camera screws, they are slightly larger than the screws themselves, so i will adjust this,
i have some questions back to him, but its 330am and im sure he will get back to me "tomorrow" / later in the day

 

another update, so far from feedback, i have removed 1 side of the X, now that i know which direction the camera is supposed to sit
i have narrowed and shortened the slots where the camera screws attach,
might have to slightly widen the center to give just a little wiggle room for the camera connector piece, might have to move the alignment pin slots down a hair
awaiting response to message

 

Just gotta say, you much have a real passion for 3d printing, doing all of this for a truck you don't even have yet haha... One day I'll get a new grille and get my hands on the finished product...

 

Broms’ mount is excellent out of the gate. Fits great. Everything could use “fine” tweaking but this thing is so close and best of all it works as it should. Final rendering should be on the money.

suggestion to everyone keep your original camera mount screws at a minimum (not the bigger silver retaining screw… we’ll keep them too lol) I mean the tiny torx head screws that hold the mount bracket to the camera.

I sold my plat grill with camera mount but no screws.

you will need these screws for best results of Broms mount

 

i wouldn't call it a passion, like a challenge every now and again, this is actually the most i have used my printer, I've only printed a few small mario things for my nephew before this, and your right, i don't have my truck yet, and it won't even have the panoramic view camera option either!

 

after last feed back, i think i am going to call this the final version,
i moved the alignment pin holes in a little bit toward the center and did a countersink on the camera screw slots



so the bracket is 3.9 mm thick, and where the camera screws in, it will be 2.4mm

I'm going to be a man of my word and freely give the design away for anyone who wishes to print this for themselves. all i ask is for people not to make a profit from my work (like that will happen).

i just read his message at 345, i have not given my consent at the moment, i'm going to venture to say that its gonna happen no matter what i do. it takes me 3 hours to print 1 bracket in solid PLA plastic, with as many people that would want to have this bracket printed for them, it would take me a long time to print a bunch out. the fact that he just went ahead and put it in his store without me responding first, kinda pisses me off

according to his webshop he is printing in PETG, a plastic that has a higher resistance to heat and cold versus the PLA plastic that i have, which would be better, I'm sure he's all setup to mill these things out by the box full, by the time the file was found and everything etc, im sure he probably has a few already printed
that's what i was going to charge anyway was $30, figure 20 for me and 10 shipping via usps
