They could be like aircraft, usable fuel vs actual fuel capacity.

Full front PPF, Tint, Go Rhino boards, Retrax, 35's, Rekgen Flaps
Painted the grey trd hood emblems to match. Turned out decent. Might do the same on the grille one of these days. Also added my retrax one xr cover and used the Carista to turn the exhaust sound and seat belt alarm off.

Where did you get a Carista for the 3rd gen or did you use the 2nd Gen version?

Put on the AFE Tow Hooks. Think the colour match of the tow hooks and sway bars looks good and they look low enough to be useful some of the time. I know they're not as good as full on bumper tow hook but I didn't feel comfortable cutting up my bumper for one of the CBI Covert bumper just yet. I've also got tint, PPF, ceramic coat, Retrax XR cover, Bed Step put on. I've got a screen protector sitting in the house as well as Yakima bars for the tonneau cover so I can mount my ski box over the bed.

Can someone with a Westcott lifted Pro take front and rear measurements for me? Center of wheel to bottom of fender flare? My front end is higher than the rear on my truck after the install. Trying to figure out why.

Not sure if this applies to the tundra bushing (pretty sure it would) but on my other car if you fully tighten the control arms while the wheels are off the ground it affects height and can lead to premature bushing wear due to the bushing twisting/binding once at ride height.

Edit: Here I found a video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QczV_6v42A

I definitely tightened up in the air. I just loosened up the LCA’s while it was on the ground and I didn’t see any movement in the bushings. Still the same ride height. I’m 7/8” higher in the front for some reason. I’m getting an alignment tomorrow but I don’t think that’ll change it that much.

So my Westcott lift is installed. I’m 7/8” higher in the front. Maybe it’ll settle in. Apparently that’s within spec for the lift after speaking with tech support. Not sure what everyone is seeing.

I also installed 295/70-18 Nitto Recons. They really look great with the lift.

Truck definitely drives different now. A lot more wind noise on the highway and I can feel the heavier tires when driving and going slow. The battery alone doesn’t move the truck as easily anymore. I also feel a light vibration from the rear when going 20-30mph. Not sure if a rear tire might be out of balance or if it’s the more aggressive tread.

Overall the truck looks a lot much better, but at a slight cost.

Just installed 35x12.5 KO2s. No lift and almost no rubbing ... maybe just a slight touch to a front mudflap at full lock although I'm not sure. Might try and pin back the front mudflaps a little if I can figure out a way to do it. Looks so much better but manners aren't quite as smooth as with the extra-soft OEM Wildpeaks. Going to run it this way for a while before deciding whether to install a Westscott. Have a Carista on order to decide if I want to cut the the engine sound and turn off the frantic seat belt warning

Nice truck. I’ve got a Carista, and no truck. Waiting on MGM Pro. First thing I’ll do is turn off the engine noise, then the annoying seatbelt chime.

Can someone with a Pro with 35"s and Westcott lift measure the height of the bottom of their receiver hitch? I am planning to switch to 35"s + lift when the factory rubber wears out but I am going to order a weighsafe hitch before then. I don't want to order a drop that will be to short for my boat trailer based on my measurements now. Thanks in advance.

Yakima rack and ski box put on over the weekend, here she is as clean as she'll get in the winter. I was back and forth on the height of bars but I'm pretty happy with where it all ended up. The box hangs over the back about 6 or so inches (which I expected) and helps me accommodate my longest skis without having to go diagonal in the bed.

How are you liking the Westcott lift and bigger tires?
Has anyone else had issues with tire wear on outer edge due to the camber inward of the front tires? Toyota spec'd alignment

The look with the bigger tires and lift is so much better. You can definitely feel the heavier tires when driving and I got S rated Nitto Recon’s which are only 52lbs too. I’m not happy with the Westcott lift since I’m sitting high in the front. When I called to ask about it they said it was normal. Not sure I would have purchased it if I knew this was a possibility in advance. My tires now look like they’re sitting more flat than than the stock tires did. You can fix that when you get an alignment.

Your truck looks sweet. Can you post a couple of more exterior pictures? I am trying to decided if I will trade my 2021 TRD Sport (MGM) for a 2023 Pro in MGM to be delivered in the spring?

    Thanks

Has anyone had experience removing the tailgate TRD Pro decal? Is it as difficult as the other badges/decals? I have a Solar Octane Pro coming in January and it has the silver/red decal. Not digging the option, I would rather have black. Thanks.

Ya, I read that about the other decals, I just wasn't sure since it's recessed how hard that would be. Thanks for the reply. I'll just have to wait and see.

Mine had the red and grey TRD decals too and I didn’t care for them either. So I just asked the dealership to take them off before I took delivery.
