    Lots.
Welcome from SW Florida! Get the stock wheels back for sure, they are worth $$$. Then make your decision if you want to change to something else. Beautiful truck!

I had the exact same feeling when first contacted them but they didn't push at all when I asked the stock set (rims + tires).
I ll have them back shortly.

No market adjustment, I paid exactly what was wrote down.
I actually had a really nice buying experience, I ll review them on Google soon to thanks the sales guy. Really nice and serious.

I just saw that! Comments are pretty tough indeed! haha
I am actually getting used to these rims for the past few days and I am considering keeping them mounted for now
Yeahhh, maybe you influenced me a bit :boink:

I realized that without the bow (at dealership) and without the red plate frames that it could be the right amount of red.
I ll still be able to swap at some point if I still want to :angrygirl:

They did haha, removed it as soon as the paper was signed though! Thank you.

Scroll a bit more down :burnrubber:

Some snow in Seattle last night, had to get out and see what happened :D
I am still a 100% noob on what is out there and how to find good (open) trails, if you have any tips or reco or even driving groups

side shot pops pretty good with matching red FOX shocks. I kinda like it.
I would still get the BBS back. You paid for them since it came on the trd pro.

I would keep the rims unless they are too flashy for your taste. Your truck looks beastly and unique.

That side pic looks great. I would keep them. Maybe add matching trd inserts and flat black pro to match the other emblems on the side to tie them in a little more.

The wheels are growing on me now that I've seen them in your pictures. I won't be replacing mine any time soon, but hey - I've already got my truck!

I can point you to the Red/Black TRD Pro bed inserts I put on my truck, which might be a good balance with them. I'm curious to know what extra lift they put on that truck. 305/70R18's are some seriously fat tires for the Pro with stock setup, so those wheels must have some offset and the may have had some tweaking to do underneath as well.

I had the same feelings about that too but eh, I understand their business as well.. They were able to move the line a little bit after I asked to include the LineX.

Yep will think about it, I like the "TUNDRA" in black as well.. I might focus $$ on overlanding stuff regarding futur mods though.

Haha I won't, I may keep them until I have to sell the truck. They are kinda collector. I hope you will find some soon :fingerscrossed:.

Thanks for the inserts, I have already bookmarked your thread haha.
I believe this is the lift on it:
    https://puretundra.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4686

They removed the front fap but haven't seen any additional work on it, I ll check again tomorrow.
I haven't noticed any rubbing neither yet (will confirm as well).

@RainMan_PNW, I know you calibrated your speedo, I still wonder if I want to do it or not.
What is Toyota POV on this? Do they service cars the same way when they know that the mileage isn't exact? Is it just not enough to pay attention to it?

I confirmed with Leer today that I will be able to carry a potential roof top tent at some point on the canopy. They communicated 600lbs (static) and I don't see them communicating a number they are not confident with (100XR).. They didn't share the dynamic one, but I know that I won't got above 250lbs which is the average limit anyway.
I read everything and it's opposite online. People saying it is just plenty enough if weight is well distributed and others talking about cracking on the canopy mount points.
I am considering bed stiffeners and this system, not sure if overkill or not:

Any experience sharing is more than welcome!

I believe that I should also prioritize the front camera. Are you happy with your Anytime @RainMan_PNW?

I haven’t gotten the camera installed yet... I have been waiting for a bunch of other stuff to come in so I can tackle it all at once since I’m essentially going to be ripping most of the dash apart. I’ll let you know as soon as I do.

On the calibration - I never did it in my last truck and never had an issue. I also knew that the mileage was underreported and that I needed to be more mindful of my Highway speeds when driving to avoid a ticket. But I also had a LOT of miles on that truck when I started running tires that were bigger than 275/70R18, so most of my time wasn’t TOO far off the factory calibration. On this truck, I jumped tire size pretty much out of the gate so I wanted to just have it be more accurate from the get go.

And as far as what Toyota would say - who knows. They’ll tell you to use the factory tire size because that’s what they designed for. Make sure you do your maintenance according to “real” miles and you’ll be fine.

    :rofl::evil:

I had another look after the discussion yesterday and they did cut the front bumper quite a lot actually. Cut is clean and the same on both side.
I might switch bumper at some point, it will really depend on what we will be able to do with it.

    Yop,

Was able to mount the ARB Differential breather. Quite easy with everything already online. If I have one advice is that you start with one side of the tube and bring it to where you want. You don't want to start with one side in the middle of your path, and then use the other side to go into the other direction, the tube is too rigid and you won't be able to twist it without breaking it.

I had some time to work on the mod list, here we are (will update 1st post too):

    :: MODS ::
    ARB Air Diff - Done
    Front Cam - Ordered
    Bed Stiffener - Ordered
    Speedometer - Ordered
    Air Compressor Mount - https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VTU23AIR-PC.html

Canopy renforcements - https://www.milford.one/LoadMax-universal-roof-rack-support-system-505500 (don't know if needed yet)
Roof rack cabin - Looking for solution that doesn't require drilling the roof
Roof rack topper - Same as above
Bed Drawers (Decked?) - Really heavy, loosing a lot of unused space - still not convince by the system
Spring Leafs - based on all this weight, I wasn't planning on doing so but now considering to do it along the way, reached out to Alcan today
    Skid Plate transmission
    Airplay + Wireless Charger
    - Depending on budget, might try to push that as a comfort feature :p
Led Kit (interior + backup) - Don't really feel that I need it right now but read a lot of good feedbacks on the mod so considering it
Rock sliders - I won't go rock climbing anytime soon but it sounds that sliders are really useful when it come to hi lift .. so we will see how that goes
Dual Battery - wondering if best system for now, why not having a small portable generator, any thought?
Transmission Cooler - If weight is definitely added on the truck, maybe this will help the transmission to have a longer life
    ABS Guard

    :: GEAR ::
Survival Emergency Blanket - That was an easy and cheap one :)
    Max Trax - Ordered
    Tire Repair kit - Ordered
    Fire Extinguisher - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015G3QXMY/ref=crt_ewc_title_huc_1

    Air Lift Jack
    Jerry Can x2
    - Water + Gas
Awning - Looking for light 270 angle
    RTT
    Fridge
    - ARB got a lot of them, need to dig into different feature. Is dual battery mandatory as soon as you have a fridge?

Long way to go! I ll try to prioritize them as they are listed but things might change.
I realized that this is a lot of weight.
I sent an email to Alcan earlier today to get additional information on rear leaf spring.
Anyone with Fox shocks and a similar setup? Did you feel that you had to update leaf spring or the ride was still good?

I was able to get out earlier this week, any reco on tire pressure when hitting trails? 20 psi? Less?
I want to try different ones and see how it feels but need to have the compressor mounted before that ^^

Love how those wheels look with those tires. On paper that sounds mallcrawler-ey but from your pics it looks great. I'd vote keep it or just have them powdercoated. The design is really nice.

Is that untamed guy on here? he should do a Q&A, like does he just enjoy pissing money away by getting new truck every few months? and why does he buy the same thing multiple times?

OP, love the color combo, I used to have a car that's Telesto grey on candy red wheels and it was definitely an eye catcher.

yup, wheels are hideous, have no idea why a dealer would settle on those to attract a buyer but the good news is youre happy and thats all that matters.

Welcome, and yeah while it's not what I would pick out for a truck, I actually kind of dig the wheels / truck color combination. Truck appears to have more than just the "pro" suspension though - meaning, it appears more lifted than a Stock Pro. Do you know if thats true or not?

*Edit* Nevermind, I just saw the side view in post #32. Looks like a stock pro. Very unique. I like it.

congrats on the new rig, I like unique colors but not digging the red. That color is already a conversation piece, don't need louder wheels to get peoples attention LOL.
