I guess I am not sure, there is a ride select knob…normal, comfort, sport, sport+, “custom”. Nothing changed with any selection.

After the latest trip to another dealership, the service manager there said yeah the 2025 Tundras that come in with Bridgestone Duelers jerk all over the road on these groved highways. He actually said it was scary…

So back to the Toyota Case Rep, terrible follow up and response BTW, starts reading me the vehicle warranty verbatim over the phone…where he was going with this is that I need to take this up with Bridgestone under the tire warranty. So if these vehicles with Bridgestone tires have this characteristic, what sense would it make for me to put another set of Bridgestone tires on it???

I call BS, Toyota engineered and manufactured this truck, the vehicle in total (frame design, suspension design, suspension components, tires, etc.) are all part of the total ride package they supplied. Bridgestone Dueler tires are running on many different trucks on the road and I can’t imagine they are all twitching like this thing does on groved highways.

I presume because of the massaging seat mechanism on my 25 platinum, it is hard and somewhat uncomfortable. My 23 Platinum's seat was cushy, soft and extremely comfortable. Bummer

Rented a 25 Hybrid limited and loved the truck. Only issue I noticed was the drivers seat back popped when moving around. Drove the truck 700 miles over a few days.

Auto tailgate deteriorated to the point I have to manually help it open by pushing on it. It's basically broken.

I've had my 2025 SR5 4x4 for a couple month and about 2500 miles. I did an oil change with 5w-20 at 1000 miles, and thus far the truck has been perfect.

I have my 25 tundra SR5 4x4 with 1000 miles about a month already. Did a initial oil change and the mechanic found some coolant leaks. I didn't notice any leaks on the driveway and the truck drove fine. Normal operating temperature. I took it to the dealer and the service said it was the timing cover gasket issue that wasn't seated properly. They will replace under warranty next week.

2025 Limited with TRD package purchased in November 2024. Changed oil at 750 miles. Sent an oil sample to Blackstone labs. Test results were exactly what you would expect to see. Super clean oil, no contamination of metal debris. Now in June 2025 I have 4,000 miles - mostly freeway - and get 18mpg, and there are no issues.

It's been posted in several other threads, but for posterity....

2025 limited non hybrid, engine failure at 1270 miles/10 days, tomorrow evening will mark a week since it arrived at the dealer via tow truck with no timeline for repair at this point. Friday I was told they ordered a short block and was advised to call back on Monday to get an ETA on the parts, I called back today and was told to call back Wednesday or Thursday for an ETA as "it's too soon to know when the parts will arrive".

I also started a case with Toyota's brand engagement center to fight for a long block instead of a short block given the horrific sounds it was making, should have an update on that in the next day or two. That was specifically prompted by a friend-of-a-friend who got Toyota to swap his Sequoia TRD Pro for a new one due to the time it spent in the shop awaiting parts (last year). I don't want a new truck, but I do want an entire new motor like the recall guys are getting

Edit: Oh, and the pano roof cover rattles above the driver's head, but not enough that I'm going to ask an underpaid dealer tech to drop the headliner and figure out why

Going through this now. After having many F150s and tired of rear end/transmission issues I’m pretty dissatisfied with this trucks suspension set up. Was also told it may be the “cheap” stock tires, but I planned on changing them anyway and leveling the truck and nothing changed. Tried different tire pressures and everything. Still feel every crease/dimple in the road. I’m looking into suspension now, may be starting with the rear and see where we end up.

Normally, I would agree on the level. But the truck rode 100% the same when it was stock. Yes load e, Nitto Recon Grapplers. I’ve read they’re a 10 ply with 12 ply sidewalls, so they’re expected to be rougher, but this isn’t right.

I dont know man, spacer lift with load E, thats pretty much to two worst things you can do for ride quality.

    what it is, axle hop?

try getting a few sandbags for the bed and see if that calms it down a bit for an experiment.

I had to ride with sandbags in my 16 platinum since the roads were such shit in IL it would rattle my damn teeth loose.

My 23 platinum is the best riding tundra I have ever had by far.

I’ve got about 200+/- pounds in the bed including the bed cover. I’m wondering if installing 1.25” on the rear has the rear shocks stretched maybe? Grasping at straws before I spend some money on suspension. Taking it back one more time to get them to roadforce balance the tires and maybe get an opinion after they ride in it.

i hate to say this but I think you’ll neeed to go back to stock or go up significantly to a real suspension

sticking a spacer in and then throwing load e tires on is a recipe for disaster imo

Thanks for the talk! I guess I’ll be looking into some suspension upgrades. Any recommendations for a close to stock ride but keep the same 1.75” in the front and 1.25” in the rear? Doesn’t have to be exact.

I was between a ram and the tundra. We also had a GX460 and now GX550. They ride better, so maybe the tundra is the best riding pickup I've ever owned. But most trucks I would say I feel every bump in the road. It's how they make every bump feel that makes the difference.

High pitch wind noise from driver’s side mirror (which there’s currently a TSB for) and I had a slight rattle in my headliner when going over bumps. Dealer replicated both and replaced both! Now it’s super quiet! No complaints!

I have the factory 3" TRD lift and I love the way it rides. Would highly recommend unless you have a specific use case for your truck that requires a highly specialized suspension.

My 2025 Limited TRD Off Road had to have the rear 3rd member assembly replaced. Got some flickering warning lights on the dash related to VSC and Traction Control. Dealership diagnosed it, ordered parts and replaced it. Took about a week to get the parts and a day to do the work, but the truck was drivable the whole time.
