Did they replace the whole assembly or just one of the components?

I torqued my cab mounts and that significant reduced the clunking on bumps I was experiencing. I still get it on big bumps so might consider replacing them eventually.

I also retorqued the bed bolts after backing them out and greasing the contact points with the frame. I found when I loosened the bolts, half of them popped like they were holding a bunch of tension from the composite bed. Now my bed rattling is gone!!

Any chance you can post a pic showing the location of the cab mounts/bolts? New owner here with only 1,000 miles but already scared I’ll develop the clunk and want to be prepared when the time comes ….

Update: Dealer replaced seat belt retractor, of course it did not fix the issue, now my truck is at the dealer to have the bed removed (per Toyota Corp) to see if that is the issue, maybe when this doesnt fix the issue they will get to the Dynamic Cab mounts, one can hope!! I even explained to the service writer that the noise went away when I had 3 grown adults in the back seat, but it really doesnt matter, the dealer mentioned this to Toyota Corp but that clearly didnt sway them. Happy Monday!

I posted in another thread, but I too had the bed rattle. Loosened all my bed bolts then torqued them down and the rattle is gone. The bed "popped" when all the bolts were loose, like it relieved all the tension.

Thanks for the response. That could be the issue as well, if I didnt have the factory sprayed bed liner I would have tried that as well but I didnt want to mess up the coating, I'll let the dealer fiddle with it and see what happens.

Wondering if anyone who had their cab mount(s) replaced can send me what dealership you used. I have this noise happening and it's driving me crazy. My dealer can't seem to find any TSB for it, so they're dragging their feet a bit. I've had the truck since november and the noise started right around 5k miles, and I'm at 7500 now. Truck is phenomenal otherwise, just hoping I can somehow get my dealership in contact with another that has seen trucks with the issue. Thanks!

Got my hydraulic cab mount replaced, no more noise. Only the passenger side replaced and that was where the noise came from. They also replaced front brake disc and shim kit, no more squeaking. Also, got the 2nd key.

Got to drive the Taco TRD OR 4- banger for a day and I'm glad I didn't buy the taco.

Happy customer over here finally. I have 13k miles on my 24 Platinum and I told my dealer about a noise that was driving me crazy at low speeds over bumps at my 5000 mile oil change. They inspected truck and didn’t find anything abnormal. I have a lot of stuff in my bed and I figured it was something rattling cause I took everything out and for a quick mile jaunt I didn’t hear it. Since then I tried securing things better but the noise was still present. Went in for an oil change the other day and showed my dealer this forum and insisted they check my bed bolts and my cab mounts especially the drivers side. After a little back and forth he agreed that it was most likely the cab mount and he replaced drivers side. My noise is finally gone. It was a light thumping noise that I was hearing. Thank you to this forum!!!! Hope this helps someone else.

Has anyone with non-hydraulic cab mounts had the cab mount replaced and it get rid of the noise? I had my truck in for the last three days and they say they can’t replicate it and that they’re not allowed to test drive over 10 miles an hour to try to replicate it. I explained that it doesn’t happen all the time Just quite a bit and I provided videos too, but they said they can’t replicate it so sorry.

Also, if you have the spray in bed liner and back out the bolts do you have to break the spray / crack it to get the bolts out, or just do it from the underside? Never done this before for sure.
