    That is current.

The running changes are specific to a change in ECU P/N.

I got the TRD CAI and ECU reflash done on Friday. That intake sounds SO cool lol. Throttle response is improved. I was able to keep my foot off of it for the most part, so it appears fuel mileage has gone up just a hair. But when you do get on it, you can for sure feel the difference.

same torque but at 2,000 instead of 2,400 right?

what else is different, shift points, etc?

last one, try and see if you can get the throttle lag surge at a rolling stop and go to work or if this tune got rid of that once and for all.

It's the torque coming on 400RPM earlier, that's what you're feeling.

Lag is present in the TRD Performance Package calibration.

K, that tells me it's never going away.

I get it once in a blue moon, the update they did with the parking brake trans thing basically reduced it almost to 0, but not 0

not really a big deal anymore after that update

Any chance of getting 1/24 ECU flashed to "newest" version/update and then being able to receive the Performance Package calibration? Less than zero I imagine but I *think* I read somewhere of someone doing that? Or maybe they just wished they could do that?

Unrelated, but that Performance Package exhaust tip is the ugliest thing I've seen on a truck in this decade.

Don't they also claim like an extra 30HP or something like that? Now I got to figure out how to get 2 more filters for it, so I can rotate clean filters in and out lol

32HP is the increase stated in the press release. No torque increase. Peak torque is just 400RPM sooner at 2,000 v. 2,400.

Brothers, you can barely get it on a new 2025, it was only available for a short late run in 2024 for certain ecu #s, a few creative folks were able to buy the intakes before they were pulled from the parts supply, and Toyota has made it very clear they do not want dealers selling it after the initial sale. I'd say you gotta a better chance of winning the lottery than getting it for your 2022. And be honest, what for? 32 hp gain, 0 torque gain (peaks at 2000 not 2400 so more chance of lSPI (low speed pre-ignition) and requires 91 or 93 octane premium at $1 extra a gallon. Blow up that TT engine and have them test your octane and find it below 91 and see how much warranty you have. Either piggy back option gives more performance for less $ and can be easily removed. Be careful what you wish for.

Good for you midnight! Can you share your process? How did you get the part and how did you get the dealer to do the reflash?

I called every dealer in the country looking for a kit, found it in stock and they sent it to me. I had no issue getting dealer to install the tune. i guess it all depends. I will tell you that if you dont find it on a shlve you are not getting it from Toyota warehouse, SET, GST and toyota all said no

Gotcha can you share the part #? Way too much garbage on Google without it.

Did you do the exhaust? I only did the intake and the tune. I am afraid I will not like the sound of the exhaust on these trucks lol

although I did do part # PT226-34220-02 the dual black chrome TRD tail pipe...looks so nice

Well, my Carista got water-logged (long story, don't ask) and doesn't work now. Is there another interface (preferably available locally) that will read the ECU P/N and calibration ID?
