2023 Tundra still hestitates

My 22 has done this since I got it. It is kind of rare and happens more when it is cold out. Now I just drive like it is always going to happen, wait for clear traffic just in case it does it.

Back in 2022 I did complain to a dealer about it and they "did an update" but it didn't fix anything. I haven't brought it up since.

 

My 2022 SR5 does the same thing. You go to merge into traffic after coming to a stop and hit the gas and your truck doesn’t move or BARLEY moves.

The guy behind is about to rear end you and starts honking just as you get T-Boned by the oncoming traffic.

It’s this, OR you get an absolute F1 burnout with all the sh** in your truck flying into the back when you barely touch the gas. It’s a Fun game Toyota plays.

It’s crazy to me Toyota doesn’t have a TSB for this. I guarantee this has caused accidents. Someone on the forums (maybe Matt lol) said “people who got the engine replacements have reported that fixed the issue”. I’m not sure if it’s some throttle drive by wire Reprogramming or what but clearly the OP has stated the new engine didn’t help his issue.
