So a quick question. I know the issue I'm having could be anything... but getting my 2023 Tundra i-FORCE 3.4L towed to the dealer tomorrow for mechanical failure.

I was driving on the highway and the truck shut down at 80mph with the check engine and low oil warning. Checked oil level and it's full. I tried to restart and it sounded like it was clunking and banging in the engine internally. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

It's got 50K mostly miles on it so in warranty.

What's everybody's experience been with failed motors and Toyota service in general. I'm not thrilled with the dealer I bought the truck from and am towing it to a different one that was recommended to me.

I would think dealers would be jumping to get warranty work but if it is an engine failure, don't want them trying to blame maintenance etc. I'm not the greatest when it comes to scheduled maintenance and probably push longer than I should with oil changes. But again, the oil level is full and I don't beat the heck out of it.

I just want to be prepared once the tell me the diagnosis and if they push it off.
