There was a sticker below the screen that said “only to be removed by purchaser” and it said to disable data transmission to manufacturer you have to press the SOS button and tell them to disable it.

Harsh cornering, Fast acceleration, Harsh Braking... I've scored !!! I don't know what the "G" limit is, but I've been driving just like the little old man that - I actually am. There was snow on the street and maybe I the tires spun a bit, but no way should I have scored fast acceleration or cornering. The pedal has NOT been more than half throttle ever.
Don't think the insurance company hasn't already figured out a way to get this data from Toyota's "partners". Maybe; data sharing is a good thing for the fleet. My biggest complaint is the government having access to "emergency stop access".
Can someone share a wire diagram or logic diagram, for the Parking brake ? I know the owner's manual says; brakes lock - if the door is open or the seat belt is off while starting off in "D" gear. Just wondering if the Brakes are applied if the DCM kills the engine ? Or if the driver kills the engine by running out of gas will it stop in the middle of the road or allow a coast to the side of the road.

Did anyone on here watch the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial? The cell data and car data ratted him out big time. Found it strange the Chevy didn’t respond to the subpoena until 3/4 through the trial but they did respond.

yeah the app doesnt take into account weather conditions that may cause the vehicle to act in a bad way. if spin the tires on ice, or slide the rear end on a icy corner and/or hit a dry patch of pavement that slams the slide to an abrupt stop (g forces), bam you are a bad driver
