You might as well get a HD or super duty in that price range.

After watching different 2022 Tundra videos earlier this month, they said pricing would be out at the end of the month. Any word on pricing?

    Thanks,

Last that I heard was people at the different shows and events lately have been told closer to launch or December. So who knows when Toyota will tell us.

Can someone make a sticky in this forum for the build options link (even if it might be wonky). I can never seem to find it when I need it like right now

Watched the above video in a previous post and the dealer said some of the same things that was said in this video.

Talked to a local Toyota dealer and they do have an allotment for 2022 Tundras, all I need to do is give a $500 refundable deposit to hold a slot for one of the allotted vehicles. There's no additional market fees, but I'm guessing the sale price will be close to MSRP.

There's a dealer in Iowa on the Ford Ranger G5 forum that will give 3% off of MSRP for orders placed for 2022 Rangers, Mavericks, and F-150s. You have to give him a $1000 non-refundable deposit, this is in the how to buy and negotiate section on that forum.

What's everyone's guess on being able to lift the Advanced package (AVS suspension/ load leveling rear height control suspension)? The HUD display and load leveling are awesome for my needs, but I also need to be able to lift this truck 1-3 inches in the front and a bit in the rear.

If it’s OEM it’ll be expensive. F150 STX and Raptor grilles are $1200-$1600 parts only.

My guess would be not until the new year. I went by my local/former Toyota dealer and they are very low on vehicles.

the more and more tid-bits you hear the more it seems like buying a 2022 and getting the one you want isnt going to happen all things considered. not enough supply, toyota allocation is lame if our not a take it or leave it person and especially if your not a pay over MSRP person.

maybe the 2023 model is going to be better for most of us who have a truck and are only wanting to replace it rather than needed to.

ya, Im starting to lean in that direction as well, I just cant bring myself to play all these games, pay over MSRP, etc.

and thats if I can figure out a way to fit it in the garage, lol, still haven't figured that one out yet.

I still feel like the roll out of this truck has been a major turn off, trickle, trickle, tease, chase around YouTube reviewers, some info on Toyotas website, then teh spec sheet comes out, and its errors, etc.

truck hits the lots soon and still no pricing released, I mean really....

Anyone know if the 22 will also come with the 38 gallon tank? Edit - Looks like 32.5 gallons is standard on limited and up - 22.5 on SR5.

If a consumer has to buy a larger fuel tank as an option I look at that as a money grab. Are there any other manufacturers that do this? Maybe that how they can achieve a higher payload number and advertise it but not mention most won’t be seeing that number.

Ford does it on some of the F150 models but the stock tank is a decent size, they're just offering a MASSIVE size for extra. I'm easily "fiscally offended" but don't see that as a money grab.

Ford has an optional 36 gallon tank. Can get it I believe on anything but the powerboost.

I get the feeling Toyota execs feel they missed the mark with the 22 compared to the big 3 offerings and are trying to figure out how to save the product from disasterous sales at introduction. Why else would they be slow walking every single bit of information? I mean, if you have confidence in your product you throw it out there and brag about it, don't you?

I agree, willing to bet these things are cheap when they hit the floor (without dealer mark up) to save some face.

You may be right, but I haven’t seen much evidence that Toyota ever cared much about what the big 3 do. Seems to me they have their own lane and are pretty arrogant and stubborn about staying in it.

It's no different than the SR5 Upgrade Package in the current Tundra. So I guess you're outraged about every Tundra since 2016?

I agree but GMC and Chevy really made some nice improvements on their 2022 model

Ooops ! Thankyou Akmerle , I made the correction i think .. it helps me to look at these things side by side it gives me a better feel until i actually get to drive and see them in person .
