If I wasn't hauling a trailer the Tacoma AC would probably be my perfect truck. It all depends on how you use it. That F350 Tremor would be pretty much useless for my off road use. Hell, the Tundra is already too damn big.

This doesn't look too bad either.

I think the Hybrid will eat enough payload and I remember hearing you can't get it in double cab. That being said I remember reading the higher towing and payload numbers actually come with the non hybrid version. I would probably get an SR5 with the towing stuff power seats etc and non hybrid if I don't go the 3/4 ton route. I do agree that the hybrid TRD off road probably would be ideal for most on here though.

Thinking of changing my order from a black TRD Sport to a Limited with TRD package in Lunar Rock… for those of you with Lunar rock models how easy is it to keep clean compared to a black?

From this angle, the rounded front end kind of reminds me of 1940’s style cars lol.

I'm keeping my Tundra, but if buying a new truck would be buying a GMC AT4. New Truck just doesn't do it for me, but I will hold out final decision till I see and drive. I did get a Vroom offer to buy my truck for $41K.... Not bad as I was at $43K before taxes in 2017

I’ve got a buddy with a 2021 AT4, and I almost got one earlier this year. Now that I’ve seen it, the dated interior is a bullet I’m glad I dodged. The 22 interior on the other hand…huge improvement.

I’m most likely getting the PRO in the next couple of years but the load leveling suspension would be something I’d love. I’m guessing that’s not an option on the PRO.

Much better options than an AT4... like literally anything. AT4 is very over priced for what you get. For a 2021 at least, not sure about the 22... yeah for $75K still very over priced.

Are you thinking of the AT4X? That’s the one that starts at $75k.

Sounds like a trim level above the 1794. Also sounds like it will use more chrome.

I saw a 2022 Inferno (or whatever they're calling "orange") TRD Pro in the wild this week. We were on vacation in Southern California (the truck had Texas plates) traveling on I-5 South between San Clemente and San Diego and saw it on the freeway. I'm still a little unsure how I feel at this point. I don't want to say it looked bad, but something just didn't look right to me. Thinking back, I also disliked the current-gen 4Runner when it first came out but grew to like it, so maybe the new Tundra just needs time to grow on me.

It happens to me every time they switch it up too. At first I could only see a catfish every time I would see a new 4runner. Now I like them.

    It’s worthless.

To date, the Tundra still towed better than any other gas powered 1/2 ton truck I’ve owned.

All relative to current needs.

Where are you seeing these prices on AT4 1/2 tons?

Hell, I would just go ahead and go 3/4 ton at this point if in your area is selling 1500 for 75000.00

I like the new GMC Denali and I have a GMC dealer 3 miles from my house which would make things really convenient since everyone is convinced if I buy a domestic that’s where I’ll spend most of my time.

I really like the look of the PRO but the more I come to my senses a 1794 or Platinum would make more sense. I never off-road and I really don’t plan to. I tow things in the 3-4000 pound range and I drive in snow. The air shocks for me would be great. I just wonder how reliable they would be.
