Not from the factory, to color match you will need to go after market. This has been done for awhile now with the 2nd gens.

The chrome is their “darkened chrome” at least. I can’t stand chrome, it is my number 1 objection to that truck (and the new tundra).
I talked to the Toyota dealer yesterday about their allotment and at the end of the day if I’m going to spend $60k+ I want no damn chrome and will wait if I have to.

Plus with Pro, Raptor R and AT4X all within $10k of each other it will be an interesting market.

So what does the tow truck hook onto when he has to pull you out from the front? I’ve seen quite a few vehicles that had damage from being towed from ditches.

When have I ever mentioned tow hooks. I’m talking about the overall design.

Nah . . . even if I wanted too . . . not enough hair left on my skull. I'm just an old/fat mason who likes toyotas and wishes they'd make a 3/4 or 1-ton . . . can't bring myself to push $90K on a 'fancy' 1/2 ton . . . but i enjoy admiring them in the 'Trader Joe's' parking lots . . . . seems like they haul groceries pretty well.

Thnx . . . I actually do quite a bit of work out of it . . . . i slide 'small' pallets of block and cement in and out of it for 'short hauls' . . . On demo-days, I actually double-stack 5 gallon buckets of mortar, brick , dirt , concrete, or tile, slide them in and take it to the dump . . . not long hauls, usually 15 miles or less . . . I picked the truck up for $15K with 56K miles on it last year . . . . so I guess i feel 'lucky' compared to what new trucks are going for. I wish I could 'comfortably' own a new one . . . but with how little money I make, it makes no sense

Did you come on here just to tell people you can’t afford this truck so you don’t like it? Lol

The engines will be used in Tundra, Lexus, and Sequioa in a year. When taking into consideration those sales numbers of 216k for all platforms, that tells you Toyota plans to sell about the same number as the last couple years......

From someone who works in the asphalt and paving industry on the upper level, you would be amazed at how much our concrete finishers and some of our asphalt guys make......

They make really good livings doing it. More than most college graduates if I must be honest. I have a few employees in accounting with Masters/MBA and our good tenured concrete and asphalt guys make more then them if I must be 100% honest!

Man, is there no subject you guys can’t turn into a bitch fest?

Not that I’m complaining. When people use cookie cutter, unoriginal terms like “millennial”, “boomer”, etc, it lets us know which individuals are incapable of original thought or objectivity. The people who can’t comprehend anything that doesn’t fit their preconceived views. We can then proceed to dismiss anything they say going forward.

Keep it up jackasses. It’s entertaining.

It’s good, the truck is coming out soon. It’s gonna sell really well. People who dislike it are gonna still buy it. Look at the taco with the camry engine and the 10yo tundras still selling for 5k+ over msrp.

. . . nice !!!! : , I barely graduated high school /// (due to my math deficiencies) . . . ! . . . and unfortunately chose to work with my hands and back instead of my head . . . ! . . . I came one here to communicate my frustration that toyota has released a truck with, IMO too many bells and whistles and what I predict will be a ridiculous price tag for the 'common man' . . . (i'm having fun with punctuation now thank you) . . . . :) . . . I'd venture to say that a large portion of the consumers who purchase this truck would be just as well-served with a Sequoia . . . it's still able to haul all the groceries, soccer balls, and with a hitch-mount adapter his and her 'E-Bikes', (with helmets included) . . . but get down with your bad-self and park up-front in the contractors spot at home depot while you purchase a pack of light-bulbs . . . just don't fall off the ladder installing them ! ;-)

Good Point . . . if I was in the market for a 'Real' truck . . . I'd probably be at a Fleet Dealer for an F450.
